After a long, hard day, you head to the local bar, a place you rarely go to unless stress is gnawing at your sanity. When you walk in, the scent of alcohol hits you, and you can see an old piano in the corner. You sit down at the bar, close to the piano, and order a drink. Some time passes, and everything is normal. The gentle sound of murmurs among everyone is rather soothing, calming your frazzled nerves.
Then, a man in rather formal attire walks in, black tail coat flowing behind him. You watch out of the corner of your eye as the man nods to the bartender, and the bartender nods back. Some of the other people excitedly mumble to one another as they stare at the odd man, almost as if they know him. Others give him weird looks. The man sits down at the piano and lets out a small sigh. Then, he begins to play a beautiful melody. Many of the people in the bar stop everything that they are doing to listen as the bartender sets out a jar with a picture of a piano taped onto it.
When the man finishes playing, people, one by one, come up and toss a few dollars into the jar. The bartender and pianist watch this with a smile on their faces. Though, the pianist seems the most grateful as he asks for any song requests...

I can't even deal with how awesome you are. I love RP-ing with you. I have a character that would work I think. He's new so I haven't done anything with him yet. Alice. Yes he's a guy. Has a terminal illness. I think that and your characters music would go great together, as them being friends to romance later if it plays out that way.
