Ritsuka (played by Monkeycyborgninja) Topic Starter

Ritsuka was somewhat surprised by Hanox's outburst, not by the words he spoke necessarily, but instead by the sheer anger with which he threw them at Frollo. Admittedly, he had not known Hanox for very long, barely even a day really, but in that time he had never truck him a the type to have any extreme emotion of any kind... it was actually kind of a relief that he had the capacity for true righteous anger. Frollo, on the other hand, a far less impressed by the display.

"SILENCE HEATHEN!!" The man roared furiously, all but proving that they had hit the nail on the head. "How dare you accuse me of such wretched desires! It has been I who has kept order and peace in our fair city since long before your tainted souls were ever placed on this Earth! My righteous judgement is reserved only for the guilty!" He declared, viciously waving the torch in his hand as if to swat away the accusations we were making. "Indeed, this witch has tempted me with her vile magic, but I have stood steadfast against her attempts to ensnare my soul, and now she shall pay the price for it!" With that said, Frollo threw the torch into the kindling of the pyre, setting it ablaze with a fury of bright flames that matched the ire of the despicable man.

"NO!" Ritsuka cried, about to dash forward and put out the fire himself. However, he was intercepted by the sudden appearance of a Soldier Heartless, then another, then another, until the party was all surrounded. Frollo let out a low chuckle.

"Well, it seems that the devil has come to collect the debt that you owe." He taunted, pretending like it wasn't he had commanded the Heartless to attack. "But fret not you vile heathens, your fair "Lady of Paris" shall be with you shortly!" He declared, smiling maliciously as he took sick pleasure in watching Esmeralda choke on the smoke of the flames that lapped at her feet.

'Damn it! Sorry Quasi, this is all the time we can buy you.' Ritsuka cursed in his head as he was forced to bring up his Keyblade to block the claw of one of the Heartless.

However, his sour expression soon turned to a relieved, unapologetic smile as up on the side of Notre Dame, he spotted the small, but unmistakable form of Quasimodo, hunched back and all, repelling down the stone wall on a rope. Before Frollo knew what was going on, the hunchback swung down over the heads of the townspeople and landed on the stage where the pyre burned. The crowd all gasped in shock and awe at Quasimodo's arrival, Frollo himself turning his ire towards the hunchback, but Quasimodo paid none of them any mind, focusing completely on the task at hand and gently bringing Esmeralda down from the pyre. Suddenly, the Heartless that surrounded the Ritsuka and the others disappeared into darkness, only to reappear around Quasimodo instead, preventing him from returning to the sanctuary of Notre Dame.

"Oh no you don't!" Ritsuka cried as he chucked his Keyblade at the Heartless. The weapon spun around and arced itself around in a perfect circle, slashing through every Heartless and knocking them off of their feet. Circle Raid "Go Quasi!"

He didn't need to be told twice, Quasimodo sparing Ritsuka a determined nod before grabbing his rope and swinging back up onto the wall of Notre Dame. With an unconscious Esmeralda over his shoulder, Quasimodo effortlessly scaled the stone wall of the cathedral as everybody watched in stunned awe. Eventually, Quasimodo made it up all the way to the main balcony, certainly considered as "inside" the cathedral, and held Esmeralda up over his head for all to see.

"SANCTUARAY!!!" He yelled at the top of his lungs, his voice carried out all across the courtyard. Ritsuka couldn't help but cheer in triumph, and he wasn't the only one, the entire crowd raised their voices in support of Quasimodo's rescue, it seems that the majority of the people of the city in fact did not share in Frollo's hatred of the gypsies, or at least not of the fair Lady of Paris Esmeralda.

Hanox had taken a step forward when Frollo had lobbed the torch onto the pyre. Damn! I- Hanox thought, believing he had just cost them...before a wild few seconds saw Quasi swing in, Ritsuka protect him, and then Quasi swing out again to the top of Notre Dame. His golden eyes followed all the movement over those few seconds as best he could, his eyes reflexively widening with a surprise he didn't feel, despite the massive rush of righteous anger he had felt not moments before, and still felt, albeit not quite to such a high degree.

Quasi's "SANCTUARY!!" seemed to ring and reverberate around the square with an almost divine note to it. A look of relief then triumph crossed Hanox's face, but he felt neither of these emotions. Perhaps his anger before - that he still felt but less so now due to Quasi's rescue of Esmerelda - was merely just an aberration. The Nobody looked back down at Frollo, a big, satisfied smirk on his face, a hint of savagery in it due to his anger.

"Guess that settles that!" Hanox called to the homicidal judge on the platform in front of them. In response, Frollo's eyes narrowed, and he exhaled forcefully through his nose. Moments later, the party was surrounded by heartless once again, but by what seemed to be twice the amount as before.
"Shit..." Hanox swore, looking around at the monsters that now effectively cornered them. "EVERYONE MOVE BACK!!" the Nobody called out, not wanting to get the Parisian citizenry caught in the crossfire. He didn't necessarily feel any concern, but it was the logical thing to do here. He summoned his pistols and prepared to fight
Katsuki had been watching and listening to the entire exchange from his perch high atop Notre Dame. The acoustics of the square, as well as the fact that they were shouting at one another, made it easy to hear. So, the old man had the hots for this "Esmerelda"....yeah, that reaction all but confirmed it. Not only was Frollo pissed at being called out over it, but he was real lousy at hiding it. It was largely covered up by the massive heartless hanging around the square, but the Heartless swore he could feel the anger, hatred, and pride swirl up within and around the Judge's blackened heart. Katsuki chuckled darkly.
"Busted, grandpa," he said, a light smirk coloring his hidden features.

The Seeker then caught movement out of the corner of his eye, and looked down to see a guy dressed in green with a hunchback holding a rope, standing on the ledge below him. The fire started, and Katsuki felt an increase in the darkness in the area as more Heartless appeared, undoubtedly summoned by the Judge.
"Huh, we're not dealing with someone who's afraid to get his hands dirty, it seems..." he said, continuing to watch. The Seeker actually felt a strange...hunger begin to grow within him. The anger, hatred, pride, and...yeah, that was lust...emanating from Frollo was beginning to make his mouth water. However, if those "pipsqueaks" - Ryuga's words - were able to kill the giant heartless - and his partner of necessity was confident that they would - he would apparently be getting a much better meal. He would just have to wait and see.

Katsuki began returning his gaze to the scene in the square below, before the guy with the hunchback did something that forced him to stop. The guy swung down from his position atop the church and landed on the platform where Frollo was. Katsuki followed him, an eyebrow raised in impressed curiosity. When he landed, the heartless around the party disappeared and reappeared around the Hunchback. The kid with the key hurled his weapon at the Heartless and it managed to knock em all away before returning to its wielder. This gave the Hunchback time to collect the judge's lust object and then swing back up to where he started, where he then held her above his head and declared sanctuary.

"Not bad, Ginger..." Katsuki said softly to himself. "Balls of steel. I like that." Katsuki looked back at the scene in the square where the enraged, Honorable Hot-Under-The-Collar faced off against the Key-wielder and his party. Another soft surge of darkness as a lot more Heartless appeared around the group. He heard the one who had correctly guessed that the Judge had the hots for the Gypsy call for the bystanders to move back. A smirk tugged at the corner of Katsuki's mouth.

"Nice. Now the fun begins."

"Guards, seize the cathedral!" Frollo commanded the captain of the guard, the uniformed men obeying the order and marching upon Notre Dame.

"Hey, get back here!" Ritsuka demanded, only to have a Soldier Heartless block his path. Ritsuka guarded against two claw swipes from the Heartless before knocking it back into a second with a swing of his Keyblade.

"Wind!" Moguri shouted as he sent three of the closest Heartless into the air with an Aero spell.

"Thunder!" Ritsuka immediately followed up with a Thunder spell, bringing three bolts of lightning onto the flying Heartless, disintegrating them a burst sparks. Unfortunately, three more came to take their place, one clashing his claws against Ritsuka's Keyblade.

"Grrr, we don't have time for this, we need to help Quasi!"

"Don't worry, I'm on it!" Phoebus assured them, already springing into action. The former soldier grabbed a discarded spear and climbed up onto a nearby cage that had a few Gypsies trapped inside from Frollo's earlier raid on the city. "My fellow citizens, Frollo has persecuted our people, ransacked our city, and now he has declared war on Notre Dame herself! Will we allow it!?"

The answer was a roaring "NO!" from the crowd of citizens. It seems they didn't appreciate Frollo's brand of righteous judgement as much as the old judge believed they did, and laying siege to Notre Dame was the last straw. All at once the pitchforks and torches that the townsfolk wielded were turned onto the guards, the angry mob that was reserved for the captured Gypsies now instead coming down upon the city guard.

"We'll handle the guards, you three just focus on getting rid of those monsters and helping Quasimodo!" Phoebus said before taking his spear and charging into the fray.

"Right, thanks Phoebus!" Ritsuka replied with an appreciative smile. He then turned his attention back to the Heartless, the collection of Shadows and Soldiers brandishing their claws at them before all leaping forward at once. In response, Ritsuka and Moguri stood back to back with Hanox and brought their weapons together.

"Reflect!" They exclaimed in unison as their magic weaved together into a Reflectra spell. The Heartless all crashed against the transparent barrier that formed around the trio, the hexagonal pieces suddenly shattering apart and blasting the Heartless into the air in all directions, leaving them as easy pickings for Hanox and his guns.
The two Nobodies’ steps were soft, and echoed faintly along the bare corridors of the Castle that Never Was.

As the two of them walked towards the Round Room, there was a shift. Not of wind, as these castle halls had always been an epitome of stillness—but a shift in energy. To both Xazek and Yuxara it was like a faint shiver, a breath of almost-warmth that was familiar, even comforting. All in the Castle that Never Was would feel the faint signature of darkness return. Xazek would not have noticed how empty the air had seemed until the presence made itself known once again. Or, perhaps he had not noticed because another arriving presence had masked the departure of that aura.

“Raixon is back.” Yuxara observed simply. “Let us make haste.”

The black-haired girl led the new Nobody to a larger set of double doors. These, however, opened on their own, granting them passage into a twilight haze that allowed none to see through. She stepped forward, undeterred, expecting Xazek to do the same.

The two of them emerged in what would almost seem to be a white room. Or—no, upon closer inspection, it was a lighter and more pristine shade of that grey, purer than the hue closer to a pale grey-blue that dominated much of the rest of the Castle. They found themselves upon a circular courtyard, emblazoned with the sigil of a Nobody. Surrounding them were ten pillars—ten thrones, one would notice if they looked up. And there was no sign of the haze they had passed through.
Arion (played by 8TigerBunnyTora)

The pointed end of the sigil pointed directly ahead of them to the highest throne that stood above all the others. Upon this throne, Raixon looked down upon them. Other flashes of dark corridors gave way to other Organization members—some hooded, and others not—filling up the other seats one by one. In the end, six of the ten seats were filled.

“What of Aiko…?” Raixon’s deep, smooth voice intoned with just the barest lift of a question as his covered gaze shifted to his second-in-command.
Yuxara shook her head, passively looking up at him. “She has succumbed. I have given her to Kostexu for further observation. But it seems she does not have the strength to maintain the balance, so any more expectation would be wasted.”
Arion (played by 8TigerBunnyTora)

“No matter… Although it is a shame, we have other priorities.” The Superior turned his head fractionally to address Xazek with a faint, dry smile. “Another brother in blade has been chosen to wear our cloak,” he mused to the others, his sonorous voice carrying throughout the space. “To join our ranks, to aid us in preserving the balance of the World, to keep Kingdom Hearts safe from any who might desire it.”

To Xazek, he bade: “Speak your name, and your pledge to walk the path of dusk.”
Noah Ryan (played by Syaoran555)

Hanox nodded at Phoebus in concurrence with Ritsuka’s thanks. It was good that the citizenry had finally come around against Frollo, even if it took the Judge raiding the cathedral to do it. As the Nobody stood back-to-back with Ritsuka and Moguri, his eyes quickly scanned the Heartless surrounding them. They were outnumbered by a pretty hefty margin, definitely enough to keep them busy. Hanox tightened his grip on his pistols, ready to start slugging it out….

And then he heard Ritsuka and Moguri’s Reflect spell, and watched with slightly widened eyes and a raised eyebrow as the hexagons around them shattered and sent the Heartless surrounding them flying through the air. Barely even pausing to think, Hanox stomped his right foot on the ground, suspending the gravity for their enemies like he had back in the Court of Miracles, making all the Heartless around them start floating.

It was then that the Nobody started his onslaught, rapid-firing all around him at the suspended Heartless, not missing a single shot. The blast from his companions’ Reflera spell had managed to do a lot of damage, and so it only took a couple of trigger pulls to down each Heartless. Within a matter of moments, the last Heartless had exploded into its trademark black smoke. He then turned on his heel towards the dais and pointed one of his pistols at Frollo, the angry look back in his eyes, and a hard, determined look on his face.

“You were saying?” Hanox said, a hint of sarcasm inserted into his voice.
Ritsuka (played by Monkeycyborgninja) Topic Starter

Frollo snarled at Hanox's snide remark, however, that snarl quickly transformed into an arrogant smirk, and it didn't take long to see why. Suddenly, a loud, monstrous roar echoed throughout the courtyard, as overhead the giant, gargoyle-like Heartless circled on Notre Dame overhead, finding purchase on one of the bell towers. The townsfolk looked up in horror at the demonic looking creature latching itself onto their precious cathedral, Quasimodo just barely managing to duck into inside and avoid a swipe of the Heartless's oversized claw.

"Forget Frollo, we gotta go help Quasimodo!" Ritsuka assured to Hanox.

"But how do we get up there, Kupo!" Moguri said. It was then that Ritsuka realized the problem; not only were the gates shut, but the city guard were currently laying siege to them, leaving few options for entry themselves.

"Hmmm... I got it, follow me!" Ritsuka said as he dashed around the cathedral.

As suspected, there was another door on the side of Notre Damn, however it seemed that Quasimodo was smart enough to lock it after sneaking in. Luckily, no lock was a match for a Keyblade Wielder, Ritsuka summoning the weapon and pointing it at the keyhole just below the handle of the door. A small beam of light shot out from the tip of the Keyblade, and with a small "click" the door swung open, allowing the trio to storm inside and climb up to the balcony of Notre Dame. Upon their arrival, they were met with the sight of the Gargoyle Heartless smashing its giant fists against the balcony canopy, viciously trying to get at Quasimodo and the unconscious Esmeralda inside.

"Blaze!" Ritsuka and Moguri cried together, their individual Fire spells forming into a single Fira spell. The large ball of fire slammed into the side of the Heartless's head, the creature turning its full attention on the party. "Get ready guys, here it comes!" Ritsuka shouted a warning as he fell into a fight stance, ready to take on the massive Heartless.

The Gargoyle Heartless let out an angry roar before clenching its fist and smashing them together, the shards of stained glass that made up its wings shattering apart and coalescing around the creature's forearms as sharp and jagged gauntlets. The creature raised it's fist and brought it down upon the party, the trio scattering as the force of the strike shook the entire cathedral. Just as Ritsuka was about to retaliate, the creature reared back its other fist and threw threw another punch at Ritsuka, then another, then another, desperately trying to pound him into the ground and giving him little chance to fight back.
Xazek followed Yuxara through the twilight haze and into the round courtyard. He looked up and around, his gray eyes taking in the room, committing it to memory. He noted the layout and the arrangement of the height of the thrones around him, and that the haze seemed to be nonexistent on this side of the doorway. Another impressive room, and yet another by which he was completely unmoved. The new Nobody's eyes flicked around the room some more as the other Organization members took their seats.

When Raixon spoke, Xazek's eyes went to him. His soft words carried around the circular space, even as it seemed he put little effort into projecting his voice. "Hmmmm…" Xazek mused, barely loudly enough for even Yuxara to hear him. He also took note of the brief discussion between his guide and Raixon, vaguely wondering whom they were speaking of. He pushed these thoughts to the back of his mind, though, when Raixon addressed him directly.

Xazek took two steps forward, coming to rest in the exact center of the room. Keeping his gaze on the Leader, the new Nobody spoke. "I am Xazek," he said, his voice still flat and emotionless, but seeming to have a note of steely resolve behind it. "I will keep the balance, within myself and throughout the Worlds, and to keep Kingdom Hearts free of desire. This I so swear..."
Noah Ryan (played by Syaoran555)

"Ritsuka!" Hanox shouted, seeing his companion pinned down behind a pillar by the Heartless' barrage. He needed to do something before that cover crumbled under the beating it was taking. Throwing caution to the wind, the Nobody dashed out of his hiding spot, hoping to somehow get his compatriot out of there. Unfortunately, his lack of forethought cost him.

Apparently the massive gargoyle had noticed him out of the corner of its eye, and before Hanox could even get within 10 feet of Ritsuka, the creature slammed his fist into the ground in front of him, and the shockwave from it sent him flying back. "GYAH!" he cried as his body arced back across the balcony. After he had flown for several feet, Hanox managed to get a hold of himself and flipped over backwards, utilizing his momentum to right himself and land on his feet, skidding backward about a yard or two more.

By some stroke of luck, he had managed to land behind another pillar. He remained there for several seconds, breathing heavily in an attempt to quickly catch his breath. His mind worked quickly, trying to think of what to do. Unfortunately, there was really only one option here. Throwing caution to the wind once again, he came out from behind the pillar, quickly raised his guns into firing position and let off round after round at the Heartless' face.
Ritsuka (played by Monkeycyborgninja) Topic Starter

Ritsuka breathed a sigh of relief once the Gargoyle stopped slamming its fists against the pillar he hid behind. He took a moment to regain his composure and peaked out from behind his cover to see how Hanox was fairing now that he had the Heartless' attention. Answer: much better than he had. Hanox had managed to pelt the beast's face with a barrage of bullets, causing the Heartless to flinch and start taking a few steps back as it tried to shield its face with its glass encased fists.

"Now's our chance, Moguri!" Ritsuka called as he came out from behind the pillar.

"You got it, kupo!" The Moogle replied as he came out from his own hiding spot. The two came together, planted their weapons into the ground and shouted "Freeze!" in unison, freezing the ground around the Gargoyle Heartless with a Blizzara spell. The beast began floundering on its feet as soon as it stepped onto the icy surface, trying to desperately to stay on its feet before it eventually fell flat on its face.

"Take this!" Ritsuka exclaimed, crossing the distance between him and the Heartless with a single leap and landing a powerful downward slash on its head. He repeated the action two more times in a Blitz attack, the prone Heartless flinching with each strike, but it was far from over.

The glass gauntlets on its arms shattered upon the final hit of the Blitz, the shards reforming themselves onto the creature's back as wings. With a single wing beat, the Heartless was airborne, Ritsuka having to resist being blown back by the resulting burst of wind. The Heartless took to the air, and as it circled around its wings began raining down shards of glass upon the roof of the cathedral.

"Hanox, get behind us!" Ritsuka commanded before he and Moguri crossed their weapons together and shouted "Defense!" in unison. The round, transparent barrier of a Reflectra spell shielded the trio from the barrage of glass shards, breaking apart a moment later to send those shards right back at the Heartless. Unfortunately, the Gargoyle shielded itself against the return fire with its massive wings, glass bouncing harmlessly off of glass and leaving the Heartless unscathed.
Noah Ryan (played by Syaoran555)

Hanox didn't need telling twice. At Ritsuka's command, he concentrated and fell backwards to the ground, where he disappeared into a large shadow. Moments later, he came up through a shadow behind the two Keyblade wielders and crouched down as the Reflera spell went off, sending the glass shards rocketing back at the monstrous Heartless. When the shards bounced harmlessly off the creature's wings, Hanox frowned. It unfurled its wings again and sent another gust of wind at them. Once again, the party largely resisted being sent flying backwards, but Hanox did have to stick out a hand to prevent himself from hitting the ground.

When that latest salvo had passed, Hanox regained solid footing and opened fire on the Gargoyle heartless once again, sending round after round of pure darkness up at the creature. Seemingly ready for him this time, their foe once again shielded itself with its stained glass wings, the "bullets" ricocheting away with a chorus of successive sharp ping sounds and dissipating into nothingness shortly afterwards.

"Dammit...."
Ritsuka (played by Monkeycyborgninja) Topic Starter

Ritsuka planted his Keyblade into the ground to prevent himself from being blown off the cathedral, reaching out and grabbing Moguri as well. After Hanox's gunfire proved ineffective, Ritsuka began shooting Fire spells at the Gargoyle, only for the creature to deftly dodge the bursts of flame, rolling in the air back and forth.

"Wind!" Ritsuka shouted, creating a small whirlwind on the edge of the roof with an Aero spell. The Keyblade Wielder then used the whirlwind to propel himself towards the Heartless, electricity arcing off his weapon as he brought it down in a Thunder Edge attack. Unfortunately, the Gargoyle retaliated by throwing a fist at the airborne boy, clashing with the Keyblade and sending sparks arcing out in every direction. Even without its glass gauntlets, the Heartless' punch generated enough force to knock Ritsuka out of the air, sending the boy tumbling back down onto the roof of the cathedral.

"Grrr, we're not gonna get anywhere like this!" Ritsuka said in frustration as he struggled back to his feet. Just as he regained his footing, the Gargoyle sent another salvo of glass shards towards the trio, Moguri and Ritsuka putting up another Reflectra spell to defend themselves. "If only we could fly too!" Ritsuka shouted over the constant pinging of the glass against the barrier.

"Hmm... hey, maybe you can, kupo!" Moguri exclaimed before turning his attention over to Hanox. "Hanox, I don't think I've ever seen you use magic, so I'm guessing you don't have any spells, kupo. So here." The Moogle said, holding out its little hand towards Hanox. A soft wind began to back up around them, the gust taking on a green hue as it coalesced into a small, whirlwind shaped crystal in Moguri's hand. "This is the Power of Wind, with this, you can cast Aero magic, kupo."

"Hey yeah, if you two cast Aero on me at the same time, I might be able to stay in the air long enough to knock the Heartless back down here with us!" Ritsuka realized Moguri's plan, just in time for the shards to stop falling, giving them a moment to breath.
Noah Ryan (played by Syaoran555)

Hanox had been slightly crouched under the barrier as the glass rained down on them once again. Ritsuka was right. This was getting super frustrating, and the Heartless seemed to have an answer for everything they were throwing at it since going airborne. The Nobody's eyes almost immediately went to Moguri as the Moogle addressed him.

Hanox's right eyebrow went up with both intrigue and a small amount of surprise (even if he felt neither) as the gust that swirled up around them coalesced into the crystal in his hand. Moguri was right. Even if he had been using his various abilities, they hadn't felt like anything magical. While they were indeed preternatural, everything he had done seemed to come from....within him? It was a bit confusing, but that didn't really matter at the moment. So, that crystal was the power of wind?

Ritsuka's voice cut into his thoughts as the wielder caught onto the plan. Hanox quickly mulled it over, starting to nod to himself as the glass stopped falling.
"A bit crazy, but crazy enough that it just might work," he said. He stood erect once more as he took the crystal from Moguri. Despite its clear density, it almost impossibly light when he picked it up. Not wasting any time, Hanox crushed the crystal in his hand.

Upon destruction of the crystal, a green-tinted gust of wind spiraled up from the fragments. It grew exponentially in only a couple of seconds as a column of green air swirled around the Nobody. His eyes widened as the wind surrounded him before suddenly converging on him, entering his body. Hanox felt a huge surge of energy as he gained the ability to cast wind magic. "GUhhh..." he grunted. It wasn't uncomfortable, but it had felt weird. "Well...th-that was in...invigorating..." He took a couple of deep breaths before looking between his compatriots. "Alright, let's roll."
Ritsuka (played by Monkeycyborgninja) Topic Starter

"Alright, just follow my lead, kupo!" Moguri said as he and Ritsuka dropped the Reflectra Spell. Moguri then guided Hanox is casting the Aero spell, the tip of their weapons glowing with a faint green spark that began exuding a green tinted breeze as their magic began to coalesce. "Ready... Now! Wind!" Moguri changed as he and Hanox would cross their weapons, their Aero spells combining into the more powerful Aerora Spell.

Suddenly, a small whirlwind began to form around Ritsuka, condensing around him until the green gusts of wind began to settle around his lower body.

"I'll take care of all of the fine maneuvering, you just keep feeding your magic into the spell, kupo!" Moguri instructed as he commanded the spell to lift Ritsuka off of the ground.

And lift him it did, the Keyblade Wielder wobbling in the air as he attempted to steady himself as the whirlwind bobbed him up and down in the air as Moguri focused on stabilizing him. Eventually, Ritsuka was stable enough to take a stance in mid air, eyeing the Gargoyle Heartless as he subtly rose up to meet its altitude. The Heartless took the challenge for what it was, letting out a loud roar, doing a flip in the air to gather speed, and charged forward toward the Ritsuka. The boy remained calm, trusting Moguri and Hanox to keep him steady, and that faith was rewarded when Moguri commanded the spell to lift Ritsuka higher into the air, narrowly avoiding the Heartless. Now in a more advantageous position, Ritsuka threw his Keyblade at the monster's exposed back in a Strike Raid attack, the force of being hit by the spinning Keyblade making the Heartless loose altitude just enough to lightly graze the rooftop of the cathedral, but not enough to crash it.

Still, the attack seemed to anger the creature, as it turned back around and began firing glass shards at the now airborne Keyblade Wielder. Taking a page from the Heartless' book, Moguri guided Ritsuka through the salvo, the boy blocking any shards that came too close for comfort with his Keyblade, leaving him entirely unscathed. The Heartless wasn't happy about this, letting out a loud roar before charging in again, its fist rearing back for a powerful punch. Ritsuka moved in as well, raising his Keyblade as it charged with electricity, and with a mighty swing, met the Heartless' fist head on with a Thunder Edge attack. The two remained locked in their clash for a few moments, a far cry from their previous clash, with the Aerora spell keeping the Keyblade Wielder steady in the air.
Noah Ryan (played by Syaoran555)

Hanox gasped sharply when he cast the Aero spell, almost losing control of the magic from the energy rushing through him and up into the black pistol in his left hand. After the initial waver, he more or less seemed to hold steady. It was a hell of a rush, and also physically taxing, so it was all he could do to just keep the magic flowing, let alone direct its flow, so it was good that Moguri was there to do that for him.

Speaking of, he could sort of...feel the Moogle directing the flow of the wind magic. It felt as if someone or something had reached inside him, taking control of the energy flow as one might control a hose. It felt...odd...but he would deal with it, considering what was at stake here.

However, as Ritsuka and the giant gargoyle clashed in midair, the Nobody's arm began to tremble slightly from the effort of keeping his friend aloft. C'mon, R-ritsuka... he thought, Kn-knock this b-bastard down....
