Hey !
I'm looking to do something with my character going on location as an archaeologist. I have one more specific idea, but there are other things that could happen if you're interested but you don't have a character that would fit for it. I'm open to a lot for this!
So ! My main idea was for my character, Matthew, to go on location for a dig site. He starts to explore a temple/vault of this culture that was said to have just disappeared. However, when he slips down through a passage that it seemed no others found, he stumbles into a stranger that fits the description of the missing culture of people.
Perhaps these people don't look too human, but are somewhat humanoid. Perhaps they take Matt down into their fire light halls and question him. Perhaps this one member of the group was trying to escape the depths and feel the sun, and Matt takes them back and teaches them the way of modern life. I'd love to see everyone's interpretations of this!
However, like I said, I'm also open to ideas beside that one. Maybe you're another archaeologist, or you're a medic in case something happens and maybe Matt gets hurt. Maybe you're someone from around there that knows about dangerous animals in the area. Im open to all sorts of ideas, as long as I get to play my lovely Matthew Warren

Plausible legends of ancient magic, but current magic is not common.

A peaceful setting, but with a chance for small fights and struggles to break out on a very small scale.
