"I-I don't know... Master was always in destroyed cities... I've never seen anything like this before," she cried into Aylla's shirt.
"shh, it's okay."
It was only then that he saw a human running in front of them. The ents were laughing at him as they chased him. Then suddenly, one of the ents had enough of his game and grabbed the human. he shook him a bit and then threw him against the cliffs rocky ridge.
The human stayed still.
Aylla gasped. "Keep quiet Keera, and don't move."

(Not what I had in mind but okay...)
Keera hadn't watched in the first place but didn't argue against her.

"Oak! what was that good for!?" a second tree demanded with a booming voice.
"Humans destroy trees!" Oak answered. "Must be punished!"
"No Oak, we must negotiate in peace!"
"Humans understand no peace!"
"Yes they do." The second tree, obviously a Fig and much larger than the Oak, gently lifted the human and revived him through nature magic. The human, afraid for more, ran quickly.
"what should we do?" Aylla whispered.

"How should I know?" Keera whimpered indignantly, "I've never been in a forest before, besides ones at what people call parks!"
Aylla made a split decision to greet the ents. staying high in their tree however, so they couldn't reach her and Keera.
"Greetings, creatures of Nature! I am Aylla, one of the last Flit, and this is Keera. Who are you?"
"Greetings, creatures of Nature! I am Aylla, one of the last Flit, and this is Keera. Who are you?"
The massive tree people slowly turned around and looked at Aylla, "A flit? I thought that dragon killed all of you," a willow said thoughtfully, "No matter. We are the ents. Greetings to you, little one."
"Most of us got killed, but me and a few others managed to escape, ancient one." Aylla smiled despite her memories of the past.
"How fortunate of you," the willow nodded, "You will be able to carry on the history of your people," he smiled softly and reached a large, wooden arm up, "Come little one, no need to be afraid."
Aylla, holding Keera close to her chest, jumped onto the stretched out hand.
"I thank you, lord willow." She smiled.
"I thank you, lord willow." She smiled.
"Lord?" the ent chuckled, "Hardly but I appreciate the formality," he held them both to eye level. "Why does the last of the flit carry such a primitive creature as a fox with her?"
"I found the little one." Aylla said. "as a creature of nature, I can't ignore any form of life in distress."
"She's a fox. What kind of distress could she possibly be in? Hunters?"
"Her master has been killed."
"A fox with a master? I haven't heard that before," Willow said thoughtfully and scratched his chin with his free hand.
"A-Aylla? I'm scared," Keera whimpered in the flits arms.
"A-Aylla? I'm scared," Keera whimpered in the flits arms.
Aylla kissed the fox's forehead.
"And I have never seen a walking and talking tree!" she said. "The world is full of surprises, so it seems."

Keera nuzzled closer to Aylla, a few years rolling down her cheeks.
"Touché, little one," Willow smiled at Aylla then set them on His shoulder, "Is there any place you might like to go?"

"I don't really know, I'm just travelling about. where where you going?"
"Same as you. We wander around, spook humans, etcetera," he grinned a bit.
"looks to me like it's not only humans you manage to spook!" she smiled at Keera and petted her. "Can we tag along for a while?"
