Rodrik had been trying to keep the window secure, but now he saw just how many zombies were headed this ways, and the screams and guns being fired by the surviving punks said enough. They were here! Rodrik knew it was time to go. He quickly reloaded his gun with his final mag, and then he'd go get his bags. But as he took a step, the window he stood by shattered as a blooded man, now also covered in glass and almost as large and twice as broad as Rodrik hung through thre window opening and grabbed Rodrik by his neck, pulling him to him."If I'm going to hell, you're coming with me, you fucking jackass!" He said after he cackled menacingly, his combat knife scratching over Rodrik's throat whilest the poor redhead tried desperately to keep him from slicing his throat open from ear to ear.
The man's feet were kicking desperately as he couldn't get out of the bodybuilder's grip. Things only got worse as a zombie or three joined in the grabbing of Rodrik. The punk screamed loudly, as he was getting bit all over, but he was determined to die with Rodrik by his side. As the redhead felt the rotten arms enclosing around him as well he screamed in terror."Help! Please! Someone!" For the first time in a while he felt completely powerless.

Wildner stormed into the room, and without properly thinking, took out his pistol and shot the man and the grappling zombies cleanly through the head. "Get to the car, we're leaving!"
Finlay had followed Wildner down the stairs, and felt momentarily frightened for Deverton, who was being held captive for the moment, by a burly man covered in blood. The zombies were now so close, she could smell only their decaying corpses. She was thankful that Wildner had easily taken care of the situation. Though, even in her panic, she'd fumbled for her own gun.
"The house is on fire, we have to get out of here."
"The house is on fire, we have to get out of here."
Liam, seeing that everyone was ready to go, lifted his gun at the ready, the keys to the truck in his other hand. There were zombies between them and the truck, but they would have to find a way. There was no way they were getting out of this on foot.
Wildner started shooting a volley of bullets at the onrushing zombies
"Any suggestions on how to get to the truck?"
"Any suggestions on how to get to the truck?"
Rodrik breathed heavily and took a moment to get his sense back. He got up and followed the group out of the house, coughing loudly due to the thick smoke in the house."Is it the one over there?!" He asked as he pointed to it."We can take the long way around through the alleyways and cross over the street when there's less zombies. They're attracted to the noise of the fire, so we should be in the clear." He suggested.
Liam agreed, though silently. This was the best way that he could figure as well, he lead the way.
Finlay brought up the rear of the group, her arms loaded with whatever supplies she had been able to grab in the few moments they'd had to get out of the house. Her ankle hurt something fierce, now that the adrenaline was running out. Still it was not so bad, that she couldn't push through it.
Wildner just followed the others, shooting any zombies and leftover fanatics as they popped up behind them. He heard something crash.
"We better hurrty! that house isn't gonna take much more, it'll collapse soon!"
"We better hurrty! that house isn't gonna take much more, it'll collapse soon!"
Rodrik grabbed his many supplies. He didn't just survive an unslaught of Red Eagles just to leave his hard earned food 'n drink behind."Let's move out. I've got the stuff." He said as he kicked the back door open."Hurry up 'n keep quiet!"
Finlay followed the others out of the house, laden with supplies from her, now mostly aflame, childhood home. Good riddance. Still, it was unlucky that their temporary safe haven had been destroyed.
Rodrik took point outside. He knew the way around, since he traveled it before to get into the home. The main road was filled with zombies getting shot by the survivng punks thinking they could handle it. They would soon find out they were wrong though. The fire cackled loudly in the background. There would be nothing left but ash at the end of the night. Covered in shadows Rodrik creeped from wall to wall, beckoning for his fellow survivors to follow when it was safe.
If things went well in the alleyway, there'd only be the main road left, which still had many zombies traversing it to get to the fire and the gunshots, which were slowly ending."Shit, there's a motherload passing through. How do we pass without being spotted?"

"We blow something up." Wildner looked around for a while, then spotted a fuel tank across the road. He quickly aimed his rifle and shot two bullets, each penetrating the tank's hull and causing a large explosion. Several zombies got caught in the blaze that erupted or blown off their feet by the shockwave.
"Move, now!" He grinned. "Maybe I should look more into explosives, they're pretty useful."

The zombies momentarily distracted, provided a nice opening to the truck, as they pooled towards the loud sound of the explosion. Liam was first to get to the truck, he yanked open the driver's side door, and hoisted himself in, as he got the vehicle started. Once the engine started, they would only have seconds to get in, and get out of the area.
Wildner climbed into the back. He was ready to fire anything or anyone that got to close.
"Rodrik, get up here with me, I can use some help!"
"Rodrik, get up here with me, I can use some help!"
Finlay reached the car last, her ankle really bothering her now. She threw the supplies she was holding, into the back of the truck, and then hoisted herself into the cab, as quickly as she could.
The giant first put all his food in the back seat before joining Kenneth. Rodrik hopped on in, using one arm as leverage as he gracefuly flies into the truck."Shit man, how'd you even notice that?" The redhead asked regarding the fuel tank Kenneth just blew up. Once he saw Finlay had entered the vehicle, he'd smack the truck's roof two times to indicate everyone was inside and they could leave.
Liam put the truck in gear, and then drove off, crushing a zombie in the trucks wake. He didn't know where they were going, but he figured he would pull over when he found a place, with no Zombies in sight.
While shooting some zombies and a leftover Bandit, Wildner grinned at Rodrik. "In my line of work, you have to be able to quickly oversee your environment and take advantage of it. It's what I'm trained to do."
