Rodrik Deverton (played by Pirate)

"I suggest we kill whatever's in there, get the food and haul ass." The redhead spoke as he grabbed his baseball bat, not wanting to waste any bullets on whatever they'd find inside."Does anyone feel the need to take lead?"
Finlay O'Brian (played anonymously)

Finlay spoke up a second after Rodrick had. "What if we blew up one of the cars around here...like we did to the helicopter. Then we could get in and out without meeting any corpses.."
Kenneth Wildner (played by Freyya) Topic Starter

Wildner nodded.
"Blowing up a car will definately pull zombies out, and blowing up another will kill them. but, it won't be enough to kill all of them. an exploding helicopter is one thing, a car is another.
Finlay O'Brian (played anonymously)

Finlay frowned at this. She was not so fond of the idea, of going into the building without a great distraction.
Rodrik Deverton (played by Pirate)

"How about we stay quiet and kill those who are in our way without noise?" He suggested as he kneeled down next to the car as he heard about the helicopter."Wait, that was you guys!? You have no idea how dangerous that was, did you?"
Kenneth Wildner (played by Freyya) Topic Starter

"I know full well, Rodrik." Wildner smiled. "Maybe we should sleep a night over the question we're facing here. We just fought off a gang and a horde of zombies, we can't fight in the state we are in right now."
Finlay O'Brian (played anonymously)

Fin chewed on her lip, as much as she loved the idea of waiting it out a night, that provided another series of questions to be answered.

"Where will we sleep? If we wait until tomorrow.."

"In the car is no option." He looked around. "Maybe one of those houses across the street?" They were large houses, and there were bound to be zombies, but not as much as in the mall. Five or six at most.
Finlay O'Brian (played anonymously)

Finlay looked over to the houses across the street. They were nice Town home, style houses. Once upon a time there had been well off business people living in those houses. Probably there were all sorts of supplies inside, even without going through the store. It wasn't a bad idea.

"That could work.... but what about the gangs?"
Rodrik Deverton (played by Pirate)

Rodrik put his bat away."So no store raiding?" He asked, not expecting an answer. He looked at one of the houses."We'll need a lookout. If you smell shit or hear noise, come wake us. I doubt the Red Eagles will come hunt for us so soon. We'll have two days off or something before they'll wonder what happened to their comrades." He explained."So, which one of these lovely homes will be break into?"
Kenneth Wildner (played by Freyya) Topic Starter

"Not too big and not too small. I don't want to get stuck in little spaces, but there's no point in guarding too many entrances with so few people."
Liam (played anonymously)

Liam pointed to one of the smaller houses. None of the houses were terribly small, but this one looked like it only had two doors, so hopefully it would fit the bill.
Rodrik Deverton (played by Pirate)

Rodrik nodded."I like that idea. Now you're planning. Good thinking." He said as he grabbed his gun and slowly walks over to the the house in question. There he stood, next to the large wooden door, ready to kick it in if need be.
Finlay O'Brian (played anonymously)

Finlay slipped herself out of the truck hesitantly. This was the part she disliked most, the being out in the open, the opening of a door to dangers unknown. She approached the door slowly, small hand gun clasp in her fist, inside her pocket.

"I'll take the back door and head into the first floor." He drew his pistol. "you guys make a thorough sweep of the bottom floor. Make sure it's hostile-free!"
With those words, Wildner dissappeared to tha back yard.

When he found the back door, He tried the handle. Locked. Wildner cursed, but quickly found an alternative. A cellar hatch right next to the door was left open. It was probably the way the inhabitants escaped the house, but it also provides the zombies for a way in. He'd have to be extra careful.
He climbed down the stairs and opened the door to a crack before peering inside. The cellar was dark - A zombie playground. He heard some grunting noises indicating there were at least five of the undead down there."
Rodrik Deverton (played by Pirate)

Rodrik kicked the door open, not waiting for the approval of his two companions. As he walked inside, he didn't see anything at first glance. The rooms were empty. Though the entire place was filled with ornaments, which were gathering dust."Seems clear." He stated."Check every door, and someone grab the supplies before someone steals them."
Liam (played anonymously)

Liam followed close behind, and went immediately to checking the doors of the lower floor, as he cleared rooms, he gathered things that they could potentially use. He didn't find any zombies.
Finlay O'Brian (played anonymously)

Finlay took up the rear and began to do the same as Liam, she branched off towards the upper floor of the house. She didn't see any zombies at first glance, and began to check the rooms. She'd been poking around for well over a minute before she heard noises, as a zombie, inhabiting a bedroom bathroom ambled out towards her.

Fin couldn't help herself, and screamed. She did thankfully pull out her gun quick enough, and with shaky hands, shot the corpse at point blank. The recoil felt like a shot to her shoulder.

Wildner threw a flare into the cellar, ligting it up completely. Many zombies immediately got drawn to it. He stepped inside and fired 5 bullets, each bringing death. When the room was cleared, he heard a scream. Fin! He ran upstairs and ended up in a small hallway. He was just in time to see Fin shoot the zombie.

Wildner holstered his gun and ran over to her, gently pushing her down to sit against the wall.
"Are you okay?"
Finlay O'Brian (played anonymously)

Finlay was slightly in shock. This was the first time she'd actually had to kill a human being, zombie or not. It was terrifying for her. She dropped her gun. She allowed herself to be pushed to a sitting position, against the wall. She wouldn't look up though, until she was sure she wasn't going to cry. The men that she was travelling with, they were all hardened. All, well accustomed to this new way of life. Fin was not. Fin was a scared little girl.
