Wildner woke up and went over to Liam. He saw the paper and nodded at him. "Where the hell is Rodr-" Then he saw Rodrik outside with his gun yelling at the person's probable activity. Does he really have to pull this much attention? Wildner sighed.
"Look after Fin." He said to Liam before storming out after Rodrik.
"Calm down Rodrik, this might be a false alarm." He kept the pistol in his hand but didn't aim it at the cars yet. He trusted on his reflexes as a gunslinger to kick in if danger appeared from behind them.
"I'd come out if I were you." He said in a calm voice. "My friend here has a bad history with people wearing red."

Liam groaned. He hated being left alone with her, made him feel like the low down S.O.B that he really was. He would look over at Fin, who would avert her watery eyes away from him, the second he acknowledged her. Liam let out a long sigh, and went back to peering out the window.
Claudia stumbled onto her knees away from the vehicle. She held her hands in the air, pulling herself to her feet. The sound of groaning off in the distance. "I am not a Red Eagle. I promise." She stated. "But I'm not dropping my weapon, not in this day and age." She was out of breath, her voice hoarse from running as her heart beat sped up. She stood far enough away from the group of people peering out of the home and 2 feet away from the vehicle she was leaning against. Claudia dropped her hand to her chest, trying desperately to catch her breath and calm her nerves. "Please dont shoot me." She begged the British man with the short fuse. I'm just trying to survive like the rest of you.
After her nerves were calmed down enough she dropped both of her arms, staring intently at the two people with guns. "You're the first people I have seen in several months..." She whispered.

Liam, who was listening from the window, wasn't all that surprised to hear Rodrik threaten the person outside, thinking they might be a Red Eagle. It was obviously a sore subject for him. Liam wondered briefly what he would do, had he found out that Liam had once worn red as well.
The figure that stepped out of the shadows was no gang member though, it was a young woman. Maybe only a couple of years older then himself.

"Rodrik." Wildner said, his eyes not leaving the young woman. "Leave her be, she's not one of them."
Claudia relaxed her stance as well as her arms and shoulders. A migraine was growing at the back of her head and she just wanted to rest and wash off her face. "I am not going to kill anybody who's alive unless they attempt to kill me first." She continued to stand where she was and look at them and the person staring at her through the window. "May I please come inside?"
"If it's my call, you can." He looked at the brit next to him. "Rodrik?"
Rodrik lowered the gun. He sighed as he beckoned for her to come over. How much he wanted to leave her out on the streets, he couldn't do it. The redhead thought he was going to be the man of the group who could make the hard decisions, but he couldn't let her run off on her own."Another mouth to feed." He sighed. But he didn't seem to realize that survival would be more plausible with another member in the group. Rodrik walked back inside to Liam and Fin."We've got a new member." He simply stated as he sat down in his former spot.
Wildner sighed in relief. he looked at the woman and smiled. "Well then, follow us." he said, and retreated into the house.
Claudia looked at the the man sternly. "I can pull my own weight rather well. I'm still alive aren't I?" She walked passed him and followed the other man into the house where the others were sitting. Her backpack was slung over her shoulder, her baseball bat gripped tightly in her hand. She stood closest to the man who was more kind to her and watched the others as they stared with intent eyes at her.
Liam nodded in greeting at the woman. Obviously they'd decided she wasn't a gang member, as all three had returned to the house together.
Fin was surprised when the men had come back with a young woman. Another survivor? Perhaps they should have been scouring the city. Fin wiped at her eyes again, getting rid of any remaining tears, and gave the older woman a small shaky smile.
Claudia smiled at the female who looked as though she were crying. She didnt say anything to her but showed her respects. "Hello!" She began, waving her free hand in a rainbow motion. "I'm Claudia." She gave everyone a curt smile, placing the head of her bat against the floor beneath her feet.
Rodrik nodded towards the woman. At least he acknowledged her."Rodrik." He simply uttered, but then he started thinking about how hypocritical he must look right now. He was taken into the group in the exact same manner, by gunpoint. Kenneth could've shot him mercilessly if he wanted to, yet he didn't. Of course this would not matter if the girl turned out to be a burned. Still, it would be for the best if they got along.
"Hey, I'm... I'm sorry about earlier. I've just been hunted down for days by gang members. Your bandana caught me off guard. You're welcome here, and I won't hold you back. I promise."

"I'm Kenneth Wildner." Wildner took his rifle from the wall and positioned it at the window. "These are Finlay, Liam and Rodrik." He pointed at the people around him as he said the names.
Fin, who'd calmed herself down now, for the time being, finally spoke up. "It was very lucky you came across us, we didn't plan to stay here originally."
Claudia smiled at Rodrick. "You're fine. Times like these are rough. Ever since my love was taken I had to make the hard decisions. Luckily who to trust wasn't an option since you're the first breathing, speaking people I've seen since his death." Claudia pulled her bag off her shoulder and rested it on the ground, the empty gallon jugs clanked together and against the wall as she dropped it to the floor. "I am really luck to have come across you guys... I would have died of dehydration or worse." She rubbed her fingers against her forehead. She was utterly exhausted from the trek across the city. "It has been a long day."
After a short silence, Wildner turned to the newcomer.
"what are your plans for the close future?"
"what are your plans for the close future?"
"Well to live of course!" Claudia looked straight at him and started laughing. "And not the die and come back sort of live." She bent down and waist length and pulled a protein bar from her bag, quickly opening it and began eating it as if she hadnt eaten in days. "What about you guys? I hadn't figured I'd run into anybody else. I figured I would just stay alive as long as I possibly could since everybody seems to be dead by now." She shrugged and looked at the lot of them. All dressed very differently.
"We're raiding the store across the street tomorrow." He laughed at how silly it must have sounded, but got more serious afterwards. "Then we're leaving the city."
