Liam remained silent by the window, watching from a distance as was normal behavior for him. Somebody probably should have told the woman that the group had a gang after their necks, besides the usual threat of zombies. She may then, feel differently about how lucky she was to find them. She likely would have been lucky to dehydrate to death..
Rodrik noticed that it was getting dark outside. He tried to flick a switch, but nothing happened."None of us are true planners for long term occupations." He said as he tried flicking the switch again."Shit. Power's out. These places usually have their own generator, I'll go see if the bloody thing works."
As he said that he grabbed his own steel baseball bat and walked to the basement. To his joy he finds that Kenneth had already killed whatever could be lurking down there. To his luck the generator was simply shut off. Rodrik was able to quickly restart the thing, and soon the lights would be back on inside. Job well done.
But as the redhead ascended from the basement, he stepped right through a wooden step of the stairs, splinters and nails penetrating through his jeans."Agh! Damn it!" He uttered as he quickly got his leg out, which was all cut up now."God damn it." He cursed as he walked inside, heading for the bathroom.

Wildner heard the commotion, and went to check on Rodrik. "Are you allright in there?" he yelled through the bathroom door.
"I'm, good, I'm good!" Rodrik yelled as he desperately looked for a bandage."I'm a Hemophiliac! I just bleed a fucking lot. If I keep getting such wounds I'll drain though." He said as he managed to find some bandaging."I've got a bad case of hemophilia." He sighed as he plucked out the bits of wood and wrapped his leg up. Soon he walked downstairs."Just close the blinds, will'ya?"
"on it," Wildner replied, quickly closing all blinders in all rooms.
Finlay had come to see what the problem was with Rodrik, and was surprised to see he was bleeding quite badly. Though she'd never had to deal with a hemophiliac before, she did know a thing of two about first aid, as she often had to do it for herself, and her parents. She ran to get the bandages from the supplies they come with.
She ran back with them as quick as she possibly could.

Claudia watched the others as they worked together in a team. It was still very new to her to see so many people together at one time considering that the last time she saw live people she had to kill them off. Everybody had a place in the group and she didn't know what her place was going to be just yet. "I'm down to raid for food." She muttered, looking over at her backpack and baseball bat. The gun was still in the shoulder holster that went with the her dead boyfriends gun. Mindlessly, she grazed her fingers across the engravings on the back of the gun. Memories flooding her and filling her with internal sorrow.
"So where were all of you from before this happened?" She asked.
"So where were all of you from before this happened?" She asked.
Fin passed the bandages over to Rodrik. "I can wrap it up if you don't want to do it yourself." She said, her voice quiet. "I don't know how you normally stop the bleeding, if your a hemophiliac, but maybe we could find something to cauterize it?"
She would then address Claudia's question. "Well, Kennith is from the future.."She knew that sounded odd, but didn't stop to explain it to the older woman. "I don't know about Rodrick, and I am from here, and so is he." She pointed over to Liam. When she talked of herself, and him, she got a bit of a dark look.

Kenneth nodded as Fin answered Claudia's question.
Rodrik smiled at Fin."Thanks, but I can handle it. It's not the first time I got cut." He took a deep breath as he applied Fin's bandaging to his cleaned leg. He walked closer to Fin afterwards, remembering how scared she felt. He'd look like less of a bully if he were to let her in a secret. Rodrik had the feeling no one was particularly getting to like him, not if he kept acting like this."I'll let you in a secret." He spoke softly to her."It's not zombies I fear. it's sharp objects. Forks, knives, that sort of thing. Terrifies me." Without awaiting her reply he walked away, towards Kenneth."I've heard better jokes, you know." He frowned as he looked at Kenneth. He didn't exactly believe something that sounded so stupid.
"I was in prison for ten years. For reasons I don't care to say." He started explaining."What I do care to tell you is that I did my time. And I was supposed to meet my son for the first time. A week, two weeks ago? I don't know, I lost track of time. If I'm lucky, he's still in England. If not... I'd rather not think of that."

Fin was surprised to hear his statement, though she supposed it made sense. It had garnered a small smile from her.
In truth she did, actually like Rodrik, despite his gruffness. She'd made up her mind on him, when she'd seen him shed tears over the people he'd killed. Nobody who could do that was bad through and through. Mind you, Fin liked just about anybody who didn't pump her full of drugs and do bad things to her..
She wondered why he'd done time, but didn't ask. He'd made it clear it wasn't up for discussion.

Kenneth frowned. "Just what part do you find funny then, Rodrik?"
"The fact you're some sort of future man. Sorry, but would you believe me when I told you I bedded the Queen once? Didn't think so. Not without any evidence to prove it." He stated as he crossed his arms and leaned against the wall.
"come on man, I'm walking evidence!" he showed him his weapons, outfit.. Even demonstrated the device to mold any bullet into rounds for his rifle.
"believe me now?"
"believe me now?"
Fin giggled at the exchange between the men. "Surely it's no harder to believe then Zombies.."
Claudia raised her eye brows. "You're from the future?" She burst out laughing, not believing a single thing he was about to say next. "I'm sorry but that is clearly impossible. I mean I get biological warfare and the death of all humans like it is outside this door right here... But futuristic time travel?" She shook her head and leaned back on the couch she sat on. The girl next to her, Fin, was quietly giggling to herself about the situation taking place.
"Well I'm from the west Coast. Everything was great until people started to get sick a few months ago. Then they started to drop dead. Then they came back. One thing led to another and it started to get on the news, my love and I stayed inside, hidden for a long time. Then we had to travel when shit started to get crazy. Now he's dead..." She looked down at her hands, remembering the note in her back pocket. "And now I'm here." She wasn't laughing anymore, she wasn't ready to cry. Her heart ached for him, clenching her insides into knots. She shook her head and freed herself from the memories and looked around the room. "Shit happens I guess."

Wildner's eyes narrowed and his fists clenched. "Look," his voice had suddenly become ice cold. "I'm not here at my own pleasure." He grabbed the chronoclonia from his pack. "This is what sent me here, and this is what will send me away from here as soon as it's recharged. The link back to my time has been broken. My wife and daughter are still there and I can't reach them." Tears started forming in his eyes. "I have lost EVERYTHING due to a simple system malfunction. I do NOT have to sit here and listen to your crap. You better accept what I'm telling you!"
Fin immediately stopped laughing. She had believed him to begin with, but hadn't known it was such a sensitive subject to him. She walked quickly over to him, placed a hand on his shoulder.
Wildner looked at her. When he realized it was Fin, he slightly calmed down. He sat down and buried his face in his hands.
"Jeez, I'm sorry." She looked up at him sincerely staring at him and feeling bad. She knew what it was like to have lost someone. Yet he could get them back... on the rare chance he could go home. "We would all still be stuck here though... with everybody around us still dead, you realize. You still have a chance with your family. Where as everything we knew is now gone." She shrugged. She was firm in her point. Claudia stood and grabbed her bag, pulling out the last pack of cigarettes from her pick up at the edge of the town. Carrying both with her, she gaped at the window, watching for anything outside moving along that could feast on her. She looked back at them and said nothing but went outside to smoke and get some fresh air. Unfortunately the fresh air she was looking for was cluttered by the constant smell of rotting flesh. she would have to make do.
