This was getting dangerous. Rodrik left a trail of corpses, to be sure, but more walking ones were drawn to his and Kenneth's gunfire. He couldn't fight the entirety of the neighborhood, that was impossible! Seeing the staggering amount of undead appearing from the alleyways demoralized Rodrik. He had to go, NOW!"Kenneth, I'm starting the car!" He yelled at him. It still stood parked where they left it yesterday; surrounded my zombies. This wouldn't do. Besides, he didn't have the keys."f%^µing hell, it's always something!" He ran down the streets, looking for a vehicle of any sort. Perhaps someone left the keys in before their demise. As he ran down the street, planting the blunt end of his empty rifle into other zombies' faces, his hopes were answered by means of a military jeep with its door wide open.

It didn't seem to have crashed. Military folk probably jumped out to go and try to save the local population. Sadly to no avail. He remembered shooting down a military zombie earlier at the store. The man lowered his guard and walked up to the drivers seat, where he got grabbed a hulk zombie in a military uniform. The driver was still in there, stuck with his seat belt. His strength surpassed that of Rodrik's. The poor man got pulled towards the corpse, and he couldn't do much to stop it. His groans of struggle couldn't be heard by the others. He was too far away. Just as he was about to get bit, the redhead's adrenaline was staggering, as he found the strength to pull himself away from the undead. Whilst the creature hung out of the car, the redhead smashed the jeep's door into it a couple of times. Each hit came with a sickening crunch of bones and tearing flesh until finally the top half of the zombie fell onto the street. Blood flew all over the seat and streets, and Rodrik couldn't help but vomit his latest meal onto the ground before removing the bottom half of the dead zombie and grabbing his handgun. It was fully loaded, but he carried no other magazines. After he checked the jeep he closed all the doors. It contained a few magazines and even an M4 in the backseat.

As Rodrik sat down the driver's seat was completely drenched in blood. But this was no time to be picky. As he started the engine he could see the vehicle had been recently refilled. Rodrik hit the gas pedal and rushed over to the mall, where he'd wait in between the burning vehicles. The redhead wasn't as good of a driver as Liam was, but he could manage.

Seeing as most of the undead where killed by the fires, Wildner slung the rifle to his back and strapped it tight. He rapelled down from the roof and took out his silenced handgun to kill some more walkers. It auto-generated its own bullets, so there was no need to worry over ammunition. He pushed the door open and yelled into the store. "Get those supplies out here! Rodrik managed to get us a new vehicle!" He then turned his attention back to the remaining zombies and picked them off through clean head shots.

Liam had a cart full of simply water, He ran out of the store, making sure the girls were on their way out as well.

Fin came running also a cart full of non perishable food, and first aid supplies in hand, as well as some Ammo. She cut her hands up a bit breaking into the glass case that held it, but it was worth it. "Got tons, lets get out of here."

Claudia carried the gear in both arms full of things they could use. Including the can opener and bandages used while hunting. She saw Fins hands as she ran behind the girl, bleeding from the glass. "Hurry, hurry." She managed to spit out as she picked up speed next to Fin. Claudia dropped some of the gear into the cart and helped steer it towards the running vehicle that contained a panicked Rodrick. She helped load everything into the back knowing that once they were out of harms way that they would need to organize everything later.

Wildner climbed into the back of the truck and started firing from there. "Get in, there's another wave coming!"

Claudia pushed the empty grocery cart into one of the walkers that came full force towards them. It knocked down and continued to try and gain force towards them. She jumped into the back of the vehicle, holding onto the shell with both arms, shooting anything that came close to them.

Once everyone was in as well as the looted items, he didn't drive quite as far as everyone might have imagined. Instead Rodrik ran over some zombies and stopped next to their former hideout."I'm not leaving without my own supplies!" He said as he got out of the car and ran inside. He'd return with the three bags he'd been hauling around for the past few days. The redhead had risked his life far too often to just leave it there. If no one had taken his drivers seat, he'd throw his bags behind him in the car, not caring who he'd hit. Then he'd speed off northwards. On to the farmlands where they hopefully would find some peace.

We made it... Kenneth thought.
"We actually made it..." He couldn't believe it. After they'd accidentaly brought down the horde, he had little hope of surviving.

Claudia pushed Rodriks bag out of the way and further into the vehicle. "That we did." She nodded in agreement to Kenneth. She checked to make sure she had all of her things and it appeared she did. Her backpack was still closed and firmly strapped to her shoulders with everything still inside. She leaned back against the back wall of the military vehicle they drove in, her legs hanging off the back. The air was getting a bit chilly as fall drew near and summer faded away.

Finlay was relieved to be safe inside the vehicle, she'd thought they were going to die for sure. She didn't even notice her bleeding hands for several minutes. When she did her eyes widened.

Claudia reached around and pulled Fin's hands into her own. She examined them and looked at the glass shards. "We can get this out but its going to be a little painful... and its going to burn a lot, okay?" She looked Fin in the eyes and smile, squeezing her wrists slightly and pulling her bag from her back. She unzipped the bag half way and pulled out a spray bottle filled with rubbing alcohol to clean the wounds. The next thing she pulled out was a small box of gauze, bandage and ace wrap. In the small pocket in the front of her back she had a pair of medical tweezers, thread and surgical scissors. She looked up at Kenneth and down at Fin's hands. "Some of these tears in her hands are going to need to me sewn shut. But I cant do that while driving, I could sever something in her hand that is vital. So we need to find a safe place to stop, but I can start by cleaning and taking out the glass shards." She grazed her hand across the side of Fin's face, "just let me know when you're ready and we will begin, okay?"

Rodrik drove northwards, on to the farmlands of the city where neighbors lived a field away from each other. Perhaps they could start their lives anew on a farm and eat what they could manage to grow. There would be less zombies there, that's for sure. But they weren't out of danger yet.

"We'll stop at a gas station once we're out of the city." Rodrik ensured the group."Then we'll mend Fin's wounds. If you need medical supplies, check one of my bags. I've stolen loads."

The road to the gas station was a bumpy one. Everywhere there were empty cars in the middle of the road, which Rodrik had to dodge. Sometimes he had to take a detour through some alleyways because the roads were too full for the large vehicle to pass. Also he seemed to have made a game of running over lone zombies. Yelling things like."Aww yeah! Twenty points!" Whenever he drove over one.

Soon the group would have reached the gas station. It was also filled with empty cars, most of which had crashed into each other. In fact, the gas pumps had exploded. All that remained were empty husks of gasoline dispensers. The area was riddled with burned corpses, but the small store was mostly intact."Here we are." The redhead spoke."If you need to take a wee, now's your chance. Do be careful. I doubt all the zombies are gone. Be armed and be ready to fight at all times." He said as he opened the door. The man also beckoned Liam to come over."Liam, care to look for some pens 'n paper so you can communicate better with us?"

Liam followed Rodrick, it was a good idea to find some writing supplies. For the moment, he didn't have anything to write with aside from the tube of awful red lipstick, he'd found at their last hide out.

Wildner smiled at Rodrik's suggestion, thinking of the lipstick Liam was currently using. He climbed on top of their vehicle to stand guard just in case something or someone might show up unannounced.

Claudia nodded, thankful that they were finally at the gas station. She put everything back in her back and helped Finley out of the vehicle. "Be careful with your hands right now so not to push the glass deeper into your skin." She checked a charred picnic table and the remnants of the dead around it to make sure they were actually all dead.
Pulling out a place mat, like the ones you would use to eat on, she spread it out onto the table and gestured for Finley to come and sit down. She pulled out all the things she needed once again and placed them out in the order she was going to use them.

Rodrik picked up the unclaimed M4 in the back. His gun was dry, but this one had a full magazine. Plus he had the handgun in his pocket which he claimed from the former driver of this vehicle."Gas stations always have got random things for sale. Surely there's something writable that survived this here explosion." He said as he walked for the door. He knelt down and peered through a broken window. But all he could see was darkness."Hey, I don't suppose you've got a rock or something?" Rodrik meant to throw it inside to see if it would trigger a reaction.

Fin followed the older girl over to the table, and would patiently as she laid our her things. When asked to, as she likely was, she would hold her hands out to the girl, and look away, so she wouldn't have to watch.

Liam pulled out the tube of lipstick, and threw that in. It was useless as a writing tool, and the point was to find something else to use. He wouldn't miss it, that was for sure.

The lipstick landed on an iron shelf, making a nice and loud 'clank' sound. The sound did seem to cause some commotion. Two zombies in total reacted to it. One in the back of the store, and one right in front of Rodrik!

The redhead didn't wait one second. He grabbed the zombie, who was wearing a clerk's outfit, by the neck and pulled him out of the window frame. The zombie flailed its arms around quite a lot, but it didn't seem to bother Rodrik. He groaned as he tried to keep the creature under control with as less sound as possible. The man drags him further away from the store until he finally manage to snap his neck. Out of breath Rodrik walked back to his spot at the window, trying to figure out how to lure the other one close by so he wouldn't have to waste a precious bullet.
