Wildner nodded. He could live with that.

Finlay liked the sound of his plan, it would be nice, not to have to worry about where their next meal was coming from, or about braving stores. Finding a place to settle for a while, might not have been such a bad idea.

Liam followed the others out and listened to Rodrick's plan. He thought it seemed like a nice idea, though he was a bit skeptical that it would work out. It didn't seem like they'd be safe anywhere long enough to sustain for a while.

"We've got some supplies. We can get as far from the city as we want." He looked back into the truck. "If we ration, we could even live a month of all this, I reckon."

Once everyone got in, Rodrik drove onward. It didn't take long or the group of survivors were rid of the thick groupings of cars on the road. Neither were there any houses to be seen, instead there were fields to be seen, and more surprisingly; animals. All sorts of farmland creatures roamed the road and the burned down crop fields. Cows, horses, chickens and more had claimed the lands their human masters left behind. Seeing this made Rodrik doubt whether anyone actually survived this.

There was one good thing about all this. There were hardly any zombies roaming around as they rode deeper into the farmlands. The streets still had relatively plenty of walkers about, but the fields themselves seemed to be claimed by either fire or animals. Riots probably happened here. Probably by people who found no refuge and out of pure anger and desperateness set fire to the livestock of the farmers who had refused their pleas.

As Rodrik drove, suddenly a shot was heard, and then the shatter of glass."GAAGH!" The redhead cried as windscreen shattered in front of him and revealed a bullet hole, which had hit him right in his shoulder. The jeep ran out of control, swaying left to right as Rodrik tried to gain control of the wheel, with little success. The car fell straight into a ditch. Luckily for the two people sitting in the front, there were airbags. Only did Rodrik realize he had bit hit."OUT! NOW!" He yelled as he kicked the door open and dropped out straight into the mud.

Fin screamed as the bullet shattered the windshield, and then again as the car lost control and ran into the ditch. Being that she was in the back seat, she did not have to worry too much about the impact of the crash, the panic of it all, had jarred her. She got herself out of the car on order though, dropping herself into the mud surrounding them. So much for keeping her hands clean.

Claudia agreed that the idea of going somewhere to a farm land would be their best bet of survival. Her feet still hung out the back of the jeep, her back pressing against the cargo they had accumulated and holding it in place. The sound of the shot fired at the vehicle startled her and she gripped on to Fin pulling her down. Her first reaction to protect the girl until the jeep moved out of control, landing them in a ditch with a few of the group ejected.

She hit the ground wrong, throwing her shoulder out of socket and tearing her shirt. "Ahh!" Claudia cried, gripping at her arm and holding it against the side of her body. Attempting to roll over she saw the extent of Fin's hands knowing they would need to be fixed. But this condition would take a bit of a process. Getting to her knees, her arm hung at her side in excruciating pain while she lifted herself to her feet and pulled Fin up by the waist with her good hand. "We'll fix these, dont worry." Once Fin was to her feet she held her arm to her side once more, checking the damage of the vehicle and if the others were okay.

"For god's sake!" Wildner muttered as he climbed out of the vehicle. "We get out of one death-trap and walk straight into another!" he loosened the straps of his rifle and pulled his pistol out, taking cover in the ditch? "Is everyone allright?"

Liam was last out of the car, having had to wrestle the airbag to climb out of the car. He too joined everyone in the ditch, His head spinning, as he'd hit it rather hard on impact.

"I'm going to need someones help..." She walked over to the group and knelt beside them. "My should..." She breathed, in pain. "Its out of place and I cant move my fingers." Claudia's teeth made a remarkable grinding sound and she breathed through them, hissing in pain. "Anybody else hurt?"

Wildner swore. "Someone keep a look out." He scooted over to Claudia and took a look at her arm. "Okay, this'll hurt. You ready?"

Claudia nodded, putting her head in her free hand. Pain shot through her entire arm and up into her chest when he took hold of it. "I'm ready.." She mumbled.

Rodrik got up, covered his mud and his shoulder bleeding heavily. A gun wound, if not burned shut, the death sentence for hemophiliacs. Rodrik kept his dirty hand on his shoulder."F%^king hicks!" He yelled loudly as he tried to reach for his handgun. But he was afraid to let go of his shoulder.

Wildner took a deep breath. "OK, here goes..." he pulled at her shoulder and pushed again quickly after. He heard a sickening sound as her shoulder locked back into place. He wiped some sweat of his forehead. "Try stretching it untill it feels allright again."
He then turned to Fin, seeing her bandadged hands covered in mud. He quickly reached into the car and took out a small bottle of water. He rinsed both her hands as good as possible. "That should do it..." he muttered.
"Rodrik, any idea on where they are?"

Finlay was quickly moving to Rodrick's side, also heavily worried about his bleeding. Her hands were clean now, thanks to Kenneth water bottle, but she couldn't worry about that now, she could clean them again later. She would offer to tie her sweater around the wound tightly, until such a time, as they could cauterize it, or would hold it herself, so he could use his arms.

Claudia let out a cry in pain. The popping sound signaled that it was back and place and ready to be used. "Thank you." She forced out from between her lips, pulling her arm across her chest and behind her back. "Does your blood not clot Rodrik?" She moved over to him and looked at the wound as it bled out. "This is going to be difficult. We have to get that bullet out to avoid infection. But we have to be careful he doesn't lose too much blood before we can cauterize the wound. Fin, are you able to help me?" She examined the girls hands, mentally thanking Wildner for rinsing them off quickly.

Fin nodded, "I know how to cauterize a wound." She'd had to do it to herself a few times in the past. "We need to deal with who's shooting at us though!"

The large man was breathing heavily. It wasn't just a bullet wound, but there were bits of glass in his shoulder as well, which he didn't even dare to remove."G-Get me a thin rod or something... I'll pull it the f%^king thing out myself." He offered. It wouldn't be the first time he had to pull a bullet out of his arm, though he hoped it would be the last. It was extremely painful business.

Meanwhile the ones who shot the group were getting closer. A couple of voices could be heard getting nearer."We sure showed dem soldier boys, din' we?" "Stay back, ya idiot. They might still be alive."

Wildner looked underneath the car to see a group of five men approaching. "Five, 12 'o clock," he said.

Claudia looked around for anything that could assist in pulling out the bullet. "I dont know what to do, I cant find anything." She looked at him, worried he would either bleed out or something worse. Her next thought was to help take down whoever was out there ready to make them their dinner. Her gun was extended with her good hand, hiding behind the jeep as she peered around to look at the 5 of them.
