Fortunately, you've been noticed by a certain green haired girl. Vera Crawfield instantly becomes the new buddy (because she said so), and you spend no time hitting it off. But one day you get caught in the middle of a dangerous chase; with Vera as the target. However, its more extramundane than you thought it would be.

Some magic. Few can use it, but most of the players probably won't have it. Magical characters will likely believe that they are all alone.

Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.
