The Dragon of the Mountains of Crag has become more and more desirous of the land beyond his territory. Goblins and Kobolds come to villages in the night, slaughtering men and taking women and children captive for their master. As Mersoth's power spreads, the armies of men, elves, and dwarves weaken, and will continue to do so until all is lost to the dragon. Will someone rise to end Mersoth's tyranny, or will men once more bow to dragons?

Well I was hoping for more players, but sure, np. I'll be gone from around 2:30-5:30, but we can start after then.

Could be interesting I could have one of my characters be one of the women taken captive if that suits you. And perhaps she aids in his downfall eventually.

Jan would fit in well with this. She could be hired to try and fight Mersoth, or she could be aiding him. She goes where the money and power is, really.

Mersoth does have mountains of gold and jewels, so hiring could be an option.

I almost want to attempt to join this just to put in a non-villain race that isn't human into the story. I mean, no offense, but I think having all the goodguys being humans (I count elves and dwarves as humans) is a bit shallow.

I can agree with that. I enjoy being an Argonian (Lizard Folk).

Though if you were to allow a non-human race, would either of my Scrausers work? The Scrauser are a race that usually avoids humans and shows disdain towards them, but usually only attack humans if threatened. They are capable of speech and while they're not as smart as the human races, they are generally smarter than orcs or kobalds, and dislike them even more. I'd figure they'd be kind of a grumpy, but benign creature.

Certainly. Any race of the fantasy genre is allowed, even those made by others. I have a made-up race called the Mustaigonians, which are like the Dwemer from Elder Scrolls.
