Hi there! I found this site completely randomly, but I've been an avid RP'er through IM programs for about 17 years. I've actually never used a forum for RP and I've never -ever- done a tabletop RP!(mostly because there's not many people in my area that do it, but I'd love to try one day!) I might be a bit rusty, but I've been searching for people who love it just as much as I do for awhile now. I'm a big fan of multiple types of RP, both with original characters and characters from other venues (WoW, FFXIV, etc). I love having a big adventure with my characters, but I'm down for some good ol' fashioned slice of life or romance as well! I'm mostly looking for RP'ers somewhat close to my age range - 21 and up!
Aside from that, I'm a 30 year old Bigender nerd who does a lot of early morning baking and drawing, and I'm a huge fan of Pokemon and other video games~ I've been drawing for just about as long as I've been RP'ing, so be prepared if I end up drawing things from RP's I end up having!
I'm pretty laid back and have a bit more free time than average, so please don't hesitate to drop by! I've only got one character set up currently, but I have many more that are just waiting to have new experiences!
I would love and appreciate any helpful hints if anyone has them as well!!

The best hint I can give you is to find an interesting looking rp and then jump right in.

Thanks! I'm actually on indefinite hiatus with FFXIV, I don't really have the money to upgrade (or pay monthly x.x) and I can't run it on PS3 anymore ): My main is on Couerl US tho, and I'm always willing to share pics/backstory of him~

Holy heaven's feel, we are so much alike. I'm a fellow bigender nerd in their mid-20s with a thing for baking, drawing, Pokémon and other video games. (I rarely do competitive Pokémon play even though I'm curious about it. I'm more of a perfect IV and Premier Ball breeder than anything else.) I've never played a tabletop RP in my life as well... But I really want to! I've also never used a forum RP until coming here, but it's really easy to pick up!

Everyone's laid back here, so you may find that things get just a little bit slow after a long while of settling in. (It also depends on if you're sociable or shy, in which case, the laid back air is perfect for tons and tons of RPs if you're not shy like me!) But the atmosphere overall is super friendly and helpful, even to extremely shy types! Everyone is always seeking a new RP, so you'll definitely find many players who have done IM RP before! We have a real time chat function in each chat and even in PMs, so that should definitely help you out in getting settled. Though it's not uncommon for people to ask for RP on other sites as well! We have a huge variety of RPs to get into, so pick your poison, as it were.
The Getting Started Guide and the Help Index in general should give more information on how RPR works, but it's also good to ask your questions in the Help Forum if you're unsure of how certain features work or just having issues overall. Searching out what you're looking for with our uber-handy Search Function is also helpful. Or, you can just ask any nice moderator for help if you're really stuck! They and the admin Kim are very responsive here. Of course, we in the community are always willing to lend a hand as well, including me!
