Also, I was considering adding fire bending as a power. She can't summon flames out of thin air, but she can work with them if they're already there in small amounts. Is that okay? Or are you limiting everyone to just two powers?

Since telepathy with cats isn't such a wow power (lol) I'll make an exception. Of course, just remember that there are limits to how the power is used, no one can be Op or anything. For example, my character has sensory manipulation as a power but considering the amazing things you can do with that, that's the only ability she has and I limited it with an effective range of 200 feet radius.

And I agree that we don't really need another person, but I'll still be gone for a good chunk of the weekend so I would start next week anyway but one person or not, we'll start then.
I'm just limiting everyone since everyone already comes with raptor vision, and being faster and stronger than a normal human (comes with the bird genes)

Okay, awesome. I just figured I needed something to kinda explain her name. Yeah, she's not going to be op with it. If there's a big wildfire, she can't work with that, but she can direct the flames from a candle to go elsewhere, or with more concentration, a campfire.

Also I'd assume the night vision would be typical of everyone with owl DNA. So both Smoke and Drake would have it. If they've got DNA from a type of bird that isn't normally active at night then they wouldn't have it, but they could have sharper vision overall.

We should probably list the birds for everyone.

Drake: Great horned owl
Smoke: Sooty owl

Would it be okay if I asked that illusions be replaced with another power? Merely because my character has sensory manipulation as an ability (which includes illusions )

I'm not a big fan of birds, so would a Felyne or Pokemon do?

Of course, with electricity be okay? Like she can send electric bolts into stuff she touches and power up dead electronics with her touch.

Inasmuch as it is canon in the Maximum Ride stories that there are other hybrids aside from avian ones, deviating from having avian hybrids would be difficult, mainly because there's going to be a lot of fighting and flying, and it'll be hard for your character to catch up, and a burden to the other characters to lug them around.

Can you explain Mel's powers please?

Danger Intuition: It is sort of a six sense, more like a gut feeling about someone or a situation but its not very powerful in her case. She can only use it when interacting with one person or when she is doing some sort of task. For example, if she was taking a stroll down a path and suddenly got a headache as she was making a left turn, she could either trust the feeling and continue straight or follow through and run into a ambush. Its not very reliable at times, but it has its perks.

As for Aura Sense. I'm not going to lie, I kind of eyeballed that idea. I just wasn't sure what else to give her. I don't mind changing it to something else, after all, many of you have such awesome abilities!
