It was dusk. The sun was setting over the trees of the graveyard, and you stepped over loose tree branches and roots in the ground. Perhaps you were seeking adventure, ghost hunting, or just simply visiting the grave of a loved one...
You kept walking and walking, until you came up to this old, abandoned house. It looked like as if nobody lived there, and it was pretty run down. The door was broken off, and the windows were open. Something was telling you to go inside... and that's what you did.
You looked around the house. A few stuffed animals were lying on the floor, looked like a child lived there at some point. Humming was heard from upstairs, it sounded like a happy tune of some sort. Someone was definitely in the house. You headed up the stairs slowly, the stairs creaked with every step. You followed the humming into the bedroom. A small girl sat in the middle of the room, playing with a demented looking stuffed animal.
She looked up at you, confused. You were also confused as to why this little girl was in this house all alone. You decided to take her home with you, get some answers, and try to find her family... but the couple days that she was staying with you weird things were happening... Things you couldn't really explain.
It all started after the moment you read her that book...

Hey! Just a random rp idea... I'm a horror obsessed person hahah...
So I got the character/rp idea watching "The Babadook" The movie is super weird and I love it! So of course I had to think of SOMETHING to do as an RP that goes along with the movie heheh.
Its totally fine if you haven't seen the movie... your character's gender could be any gender really, male, female, other... I don't mind
I would think your character would have to be human, though...
Response length could depend on the others response... I try my best to write atleast a paragraph heh.

On very, very, rare occasions there may be unexplained, POSSIBLY supernatural events. Minor "environmental" magic. Perhaps implies the existence of a deity or supernatural entity. Or perhaps it's just tricks?
