Greed.. Power... These things makr men do stupid things. Who benefits from war?
The rich ofcourse. Peddling guns, missiles and even experimental drugs with promises of hightened abilities and strength.
god is everyone stupid!? how many 'mistakes' is mankind allowed to make before SOMETHING goes wrong?
Well it wasn't long until the the drug backfired. People started eating other people. The government fell and Trump is nowhere to be seen. What a saggy orange waste of skin that guy... He was a mistake the minute he popped out of his mother.
We were told the 'disease' was contained. Oh how stupid and ignorant everyone was. It wasn't long after the inital outbreak, San Fransisco started to crumble. Sounds of cars and people on the streets feel like a distant memory but in reality. It's only been a month since it started. Groans of the soulless, animated corpsrs are all that remain.
Jamie, don't move a single muscle a man with brown and blinde highlighted hair signed to his deaf niece.
They seemed to have gotten themselves in a sticky situation. Someone close by to them shot a gun which led the walkers right to them.
The man, Conner, and his niece, Jamie both crouched behind the counter of the convenient store they were in. Seems some stragglers weren't so interested in the loud gunshot and decided to go shopping.
Conner peaked over the counter to do a quick head count, his recurve bow drawn with home made wooden arrow resting on the string. He counted 5 walkers There's 5 of them he signed to his niece who was almost too paralyzed to move her head for a simple nod wait here, I'll be back he signed keep your pocket knife ready.
He took a deep breath and pulled back the arrow in his bow. He turned the corner still in a crouch, aimed around the edge of the counter and let one arrow fly. It split a walker in the back of its head, through it's eye. It fell limp. The thud of its body hitting the floor caught the attention of the other walkers. Conner used this moment to reposition. He krept to a nearby food shelf to hide from the moving walkers "4 more" he whispered keeping his eye on the prey.

She didn't mean to fire her gun, she knew that would attract them but she had tripped while aiming and boom, the gun went off. "Dammit Dammit Dammit" she repeated, looking for somewhere to hide. The gun wasn't even hers, she had found it, hell she didn't even know how to use it properly.
Spotting the door open to one of the store's Ivy quickly but discreetly made her way too it as one by one they started to head her way. Once inside she closed the door and turned. "Dammit" she said again, seeing four walkers. They had not noticed her yet and she had froze. She couldn't go back outside, there was a whole lot more than four out there. Could she manage them alone?
Without thinking she dove behind the counter and was surprised to see a young girl there, looking terrified. "What on....?
never mind" she whispered to herself and peeked over the counter. The four walkers had their attention on something and she followed their direction to see a man crouching by the shelves, bow and arrow in hand and ready to strike, he was clearly outnumbered, though it did make her odds better.

Conner used the time it took the Walkers to move, to reposition for a better angle "always get the short end of the stick don't I?" he whispered. As he got his aim lined up, he put two arrows against the string of his bow, before he could let the arrows fly Jamie squealed in surprise. Jamie's deaf ears hadn't picked up on Ivy before she approached cauing her reaction.
The Walkers looked around the counter to find their prey. Conner had to make his way to Jamie abd fast. He can't let her die, not a chance.
"hey!" he called out to the group of walkers that were mere inches from the counter. They turned towards him, slowly. Their arms raised, ready to rip apart and chew up their new target.
The arrows he had lined up in te bow pierced the air in a silent whirr hoping to kill 2 at once.

Normal attack on first zombie
rolled 1d12 and got 1
Second arrow with slight decrease in accuracy
Seeing that the man had managed to injure one of the walkers and kill another Ivy nearly cheered but didn't, not that it would have mattered, the other two were still heading her way due the the little girl squealing. Ducking back behind the counter she pulled her sling shot from her backpack and loaded it, quickly surfacing again, taking aim and releasing the lead ball. It hit the injured walker just above the eyes, penetrating its skull and it went down. "two down, two to go" she said as she crouched back down.
Nudging the girl "we need to move" she said but the girl did not seem to understand or maybe was still too scared. Grabbing her by the arm Ivy pulled her into the room that was behind the counter, hoping for another way out or a better place to hide.

((when attacking, roll a dice of 20 sides. Since i hit the second walker for 1 point. It's still got 9hp. I know this sounds like its too much but i wanted to try something new xD))
Jamie watched as the stranger took out the walker that had one of Conner's arrows sticking out of its shoulder.
Conner was surprised by the woman, there wasn't anyone inside when they came... Shit Jamie was there.
Conner pulled back another arrow against the bow string, he got close enough to the last walker to get a sure kill. He was trying to get enough force to pierce through te walker's decaying skull and hit the woman "Leave her alone!" Conner yelled as he let go of the string, arrow aimed through the walker.
The walker dropped dead but the arrow missed the woman, lodging itself against the doorframe beside her.

rolled 1d20 and got 12
Last zombie attack
(( Ok, just keep me right ))
Ivy froze as the arrow whizzed past her into the door frame. She pushed the little girl into the room and spun around ready to attack, sure that the man must have missed. Seeing that he didn't and that he was also aiming for her she was furious.
"What are you doing? " she yelled "You could have hit the girl...the girl who I was helping!!"

Jaime stumbled into the supply room and crawled towards the back wall. She was afraid of the woman, in this world every favor comes with a price.
Conner had an arrow aimed directly at the woman "no way I'd hit her, who the hell are you and what do you want? Do you expect me to believe you were just helping?" he asked arrow drawn, he moved around her, still keeping his distance, cautious "move from the door" he demanded getting into position, if she made a move, he could charge her easily.

Ivy went to speak but instead just rolled her eyes and moved from the door. "Im not a threat...you can put that down" she said as she started to browse the shelves to see what there was.
Seeing that he wasn't moving she sighed. "My name is Ivy. I came in here to hide and saw the walkers then the girl then you. I figured you might have needed help. My bad" shrugging her shoulders the turned away and continued to browse. " If you are not going to shoot me please put your toy away...dont want someone to get hurt"

"we wouldn't have needed help if, that gun hadn't have been fired" he slowly let the tension on the string slip but kept the bow and arrow ready. He didn't move his eyes from her as he backed into the storage room. He motioned for Jamie to stay close which she did without hesitation. She grabbed hold of his jacket and kept herself hidden behind him, occasionally glancing at Ivy.
Conner watched her browse and so did he, with one eye on her ofcourse "the woman with a slingshot calls a bow and arrow a toy, priceless" he chuckled.
His fingers found mostly empty packaging except for 2 tins of beans, 3 bags of stale chips and half bottle of water. "Beggers can't be chosers" He muttered to himself in a sigh, stowing the supplies in his back pack.
"The woman said he came here" a rough male voice came from a nearby room. Conner instantly got into a crouch, weapon ready "shit" they must've beem tracking him "they found me"

Ivy winced a little at the mention of the gun, she wished she had never have found it and made a mental note to leave it behind. Yeah it was a good weapon but the man was right, it drew too much attention. "sorry about that" she said and took a moment to look at them both through the empty shelves. she wondered what their story was as she dropped what she could into her bag.
The sound of a voice startled her and the other two by the looks of it. Moving to stay hidden Ivy watched to see who was coming but no one appeared right away. Glancing out the window she noticed the street was clear, well what she could see. "Hey!" she half whispered half yelled and motioned for the man and girl to move to where she was. "it is clear outside, I am going to check". Crouching down she moved to the door and disappeared outside, knocking on the window to let them know all was good before running over the street and into another store, wondering if they would follow.

It's the Kesler's men Conner signed to Jamie, her eyes widened in fear. More tears bordered the edge of her eyes as she held Conner's jacket tighter.
Conner watched Ivy sneak out the front door, knocking on the window then bolting down the road to a shop across the street.
He led Jamie towards the door, as quiet as he could. He kept Jamie ahead of him so he could watch her and the door. Just before clearing the last shelf, a can rolled off a nearby shelf and hit the floor with a clank.
"What was that?" The man in the other room asked out loud, surprised by the noise. Conner quickly grabbed Jamie and hid her with him against the shelf. The armed man entered the shop front, a pistol with a DIY can silencer in hand. A single bead of sweat ran down Conner's temple, his hand slowly removing the blade tucked in the waist of his pants.
The man neared Conner and Jamie, paper crunching underneath his feat each step he took. A few meters from Conner and Jamie, another armed man came running in through the previous door panting "We found a few survivors holled up in a house back this way. Kesler wants them" he said to the man that stood a mear meter from Conner and Jamie, both of which were breathing so slow it was almost as if they weren't breathing at all. Jamie kept her head buried in Conner's jacket, too afraid to move whilst her guardian protected her, listening and waiting to attack.
The man with the pistol grunted "dammit... Fine let's go"
Once both men left, Conner took in a long deep breath then exhailed in relief. He gently hugged Jamie who'd removed her face from the inside of his jacket after feeling him take a deep breath.
He lead both of them across the street to Ivy "live to fight another day" he muttered, shutting the door behind him.

Die roll for a SURPRISE!!
Ivy looked back once when she got into the store to see if they were following but her attention was drawn by the clothes in the store. She looked down at he shabby outfit, covered in mud and blood and who knows what before grinning and stripping out of it down to her underwear, any sense she had of being ashamed or embarressed disapearing a long time ago.
Quickly though she searched the racks. Finding herself new clothes she put them down on the desk, which made her laugh since she was not going to pay for them. Taking another look around she spotted a kick ass pair of boots and darted over the store to get them, freezing when she heard a noise at the door and cursing herself for leaving it open, not only that but for leaving her bag and makeshift weapons at the other side if the store.

((do not write me off! almost broke my foot xD girlfriend has been taking care of me))
Previous rolled dice was above 10, prepare to be caught!!
Conner slumped next to the door, relieved that they weren't caught. Any further and he'd have human blood on his hands. Killing another person would wreck him beyond measure.
Jamie spotted Ivy's stuff on the floor, out in the open. She tugged on Conner's jacket, pointong at it. It seemed weird to him she'd just leave it but he didn't know her. From what he did gather, she seemed VERY naive.
"hey, you here?" he whispered loudly approaching her stuff.
"yes, I am" a deep voice from behind him made him turn on his heels, arrow pulled against the bow string. The source of thw voice was 6foot Caucasian man with white hair, an army build and a scar down his left eye. A small group of men behind him, all guns pointed at him and Jamie.
"Kesler..." Conner muttered, angrily.
"How far did you think you were going to get Conner?" Kesler asked, obviously smug "you owe me and you're going to work it off"
Jamie hid behind Conner, afraid. The tension in the air made her afraid. Conner knew there was no way he was getting out of this one. He slowly lowered his bow, pinch Jamie on her shoulder, there was no other way...
Jamie didn't hesitate, she ran to hide through an opening in the wall. She didn't look back, tears staining her soft white cheeks.
"hold your fire she's not the reason we came here" Kesler said to his men. They chained him up and made their way to Sanctuary.
