About Me
I haven't role-played in several years, and not wanting to lose more skill than I had already lost, decided to pick a random forum to start back up again. I used to role-play on the Warrior Cats RPG site, (now called FeralFront) and it was a blast until things started slowing down due to my many personal issues (i.e. normal teen problems). But with some of those out of the way now, I think I'm ready to put my nose back to the grindstone.
I love fables, folk tales, epics, mythological creatures, and greek/roman mythology, and I'll often use themes and people from these as inspiration for some of my characters (*cough* *cough* Joyce- *couch*). I'll often also flip the meaning of common archetypes to make my characters, and their perspectives, different than most. (Ex. Light/White/Day = Bad, Dark/Black/Night = Good & Being a hero is not about being humble, or proud, or strong,
or smart. But it means to assert ones self as an enemy to evil on all sides, and to sacrifice ones reputation and personal safety for the common good no matter the consequence (could talk about this all day).
About My Characters In General
A lot of my characters are still works-in-progress, including my main, so they're far from perfect. I'm still working on their personalities, manner of speech, backstories, etc. Heck, it took me years to come up for the name Joyce Bragg for a character I made in 2012. In fact, Joyce (Mintshade, Nemesis, Wayfarer, Nemesis) has had the most change over the years and has received most of my attention. I should really work on another character for a while. But not until I get this one just right.
