So, I've never actually had a disagreement over RPing until today. And I'm feeling pretty crappy about it to be honest. :/

It was nothing huge, just a misunderstanding taken as an insult (I didn't know how I was suppose to include myself into the RP) But now that person is quite angry, and no longer responding. Sad, but it happens I guess.

Anyone else get stuck in this situation? I feel bad, but I did apologize multiple times. So I don't see any other way to take it.

Tis not that bad. Happens a lot. To me too. No worries.

I appreciate it lol. I don't usually have issues with anyone XD so that's good.
*raises hand* I know your pain big time. It was a simple request to continue RPing; it was going off track by an ex-best friend filling the chat with angst over a minor OOC issue that resolved itself within the next hour. I thought that even though real life was indeed important, that maybe RP would take their mind off of it. I get called a "female dog without a heart," to put it mildly, and ended up losing them as a friend. Then again, they always ditched everyone when they didn't get attention from others and cared little about paying the attention forward to someone who actually needed it, so I guess it was for the best.

Misunderstandings happen for many a reason, and sometimes people can't see past their own hubris to talk objectively about things and get them resolved. Some people even see just talking about issues when it needs to be discussed as "starting drama" anyway (said ex-friend was a prime example of this). It's not your fault, and at least you apologized and tried to make amends regardless of them cutting you off. It means you have an option to move on, while they have an option to either accept it and move on as well, open up communications again to talk about things more calmly, or even choose to ignore it and assume negative things about you as they wish.

I guess what I'm saying is, I know your pain, but don't let it get to you. Just like there are many jerks who don't care to talk things out, there are many other people out there who are more than happy to hear your opinions and respectfully agree to disagree if it comes to that point.
Unfortunately people can be incredibly and unreasonably sensative online, it sounds like you tried your absolute best to make amends to them, at that point its on them, so the best you can do (in my opinion.) is to just continue to be open and friendly, if they don't let it go and won't forgive you thats their fault not yours and shows a general lack of maturity on their part.

I'm sorry times have been tough Xp but they'll look up eventually as I know angst like that can really hurt both emotionally and creativly but all pain fades eventually, and as mature and tough as you are it'll get better ^^

That was really sweet of you to share, thank you :)

I'm definitely feeling better about the whole issue after some sleep. But it is sad that it's come to the plot when compromise or understanding isn't welcome. But either way, no hard feelings against said person. I can only try to be better I suppose. XD

So sorry about your friend though, that was definitely something serious. But it sounds like you weren't the first put into that situation. So it definitely seems like a gold thing in the end. But still, you were really nice to try to take her mind off of life in general. And for the comment here :)

It hurt a bit at first, but taking the night off helped, thanks :)

And you're right, it just happens. It's just a shame. But I appreciate the advice about it. I don't think I'm going to be emotionally scarred because of it at least. XD

I do think the note should be spread though. We've definitely hit a point in RP where people are a bit less lenient on younger or less experienced people. Or a bit unwelcome about it in general. Would be nice to try and change a few mindsets.
