"What happened?" Concern was laced in Jenase's usually flat voice. She noticed the tear fall down Nitro's cheek and gently wiped it awat before resting her hand back in her lap like the other one.

"I was bumped into them while racing and they fell off the bridge and drowned. I thought she and my daughter were at her job already...but they stopped to get something to eat."

"Oh." Jenase looked down, she knew it had to hurt more to kill your own family. "If it makes you feel better my mother was raped and it got her pregnant with me." Her hands balled into fists. She hated her father and how much she was like him. Her father had brown hair and eyes, while her was a blonde with green eyes.

"Oh,I'm sorry to hear that." He scratched his head a little and turned the volume up so it can be heard and he put a black cd in. The song was "Code or the road" by: Danko Jones. He tapped his thumb on the wheel to the beat of the song. That song well discribed him and it was something that would make him feel better when he was unhappy.

"Don't be." Jenase mumbled staring out the window. She seemed emotionless when she ever talked about her past. Her eyes cold, her lips a straight line, nothing about her spoke of emotion. "Why do you street race? You were once a govermental personal and turned to having police going after you everyday. Why?" She looked at Nitro, watching his face to read his experssion.

"They are trying to kill me. I saw something that they were planning to do...and They don't want me to tell what. I won't tell anyone because they would kill them. I don't want another death rested upon my shoulders. I still need money,so I race. I have become really famous somehow in good and bad ways."

Janase nodded. "I would ask what it is that you know but you said you wouldn't tell because you worry it would get other people killed. Street racing has worked in your favour though. With you street racing it helps keep the cops and goverment guessing where you are at."

"Yeah. I guess you're right. Sadly someone as foolish as me wouldn't know any other way." He sighed and pulled into a driveway and he lightly pushed his brown hair out of his eyes. "I'm just a fool in which death will soon fall upon."

Jenase frowned at Nitro. "Do you really think that way of you?" She looked atraight into his eyes, her gaze intesne with her clear blue eyes. "Do you hontestly, to God believe that a fool could aviod the goverment like you have done for so long? Do you really think that the goverment would send someone who has handle many different cases after a fool? Do you believe they would send me to track you down if you were a fool? Look me in the eye and tell me the truth, Nitro."

"I guess you're right." He smirked a little and stepped out of his car. They were in front of a large building,but it was unclear where they were.

Jenase stepped out of the car and looked at the building they were infornt of. "Where are we?" She asked, looking at Nirto.

"I raced around this area plenty of times...so...this is..my home. So how did you know you could even trust me? A mistake you made was by saying you were after me. I could have killed you easily if I wanted but you stepped in my car. What makes you think I won't kill you?" He looked at her with his green eyes that could be seen brightly even at night.

Jenase shrugged. "I never said I trusted you, but I was curious to what has brought you to the life you have. If I don't have information that I could use on my cases then I don't know how to solve it. Seeing that you street drive then I know you would most likely be more comfortable talking about all that has happened to you while in your car and driving." She looked straight into Nitro's green eyes with bright blues. "But I knew that you wouldn't kill me because if you wanted to, you would've done it already."

"Would I?" He smirked and started to walk towards the building. "I could well understand why you would think so. But I well know you will soon make me bow to the government and let them slaughter me in a dark room. My last words would be,'Born in sin,died with honor'. That's it." He sighed.

Jenase walked beside him with a small smrik on her face. "You never know that is always true. I could easily put you out of your misery before they could or I can easily give up on the case after a few months of trying. You never what I am going to do. I'm a complexed person, even for a detective."

Nitro looked at her. "I'm worth a lot right now. Why don't you just kill me? Watch my blood spread and my body hit the pavement. You could get a lot of money." He smirked.

"Who said I was in it for the money? Why would I kill someone as nice as you are?" Jenase smiled, it was a soft, friendly smile, one she didn't show much.

He smiled a little and scratched his head. "I count myself as a bad guy. I really need to get my mind straight,and the next race is tomorrow."

Jenase was trying not to laugh when Nitro called himself a bad guy. "I'm sorry but I've got men and women locked up for killing, raping, and toturing people. I've seen evil in many different eyes. And I'm here to tell you that you are the farthest I've seen from evil in a case in a long time." She smiled slightly at him.

He sighed a little and looked at his dog tags. "I'm closer then you think." He smiled a little as they finally went into his house. He sat down on his couch with a huff and a few barbies in the corner of the room. They would belong to his daughter...if she were alive.
