I could have sworn that there was a bumping limit for the looking for rp forums. I checked the rules of the forums and some of the topics in help, but I couldn't find it.

Bumping is in general discouraged, but tolerated if the topic was no longer on the first page of the forum at the time that the bump was occurred. If the topic was anywhere on the first page (top 20 topics), then it's fair game to report the bumps and moderators will remove them and ask the person to stop (we check timestamps to double check where the topic was at the time of the bump).
