Hello! I suddenly got this amazing plot line inspired by The Lunar Chronicles, which is a book series by Marissa Meyer.
The genre will be very loose. There will definitely be romance, but you can decide whether you want it sci-fi, historical or modern. However, fantasy is included. But it won't affect their daily life, if you know what I mean.
The plot surrounds a princess that is insane. I haven't made her character yet, but her name will be Maya. She's insane because she has an ability that she has not been using since she was a child. And by not using the ability she was born with, it had driven her insane. This can be the case if a person has a power that they do not use for a long time. Maya has a childhood friend, who has been growing up with her ever since they were toddlers. He comes from a family where his father is a guard. So after seeing some of Maya's insane episodes, he decides to be her own personal guard. And most of the time, he doesn't protect her from real enemies. Some of these enemies are often just in Maya's head, and he just has to wake her up and snap her out of it.
The guard can have a super power himself, if that makes it more interesting.
