Hello dears! I have a bit of a challenge, and question for you, more so based on the challenge!
My challenge is for each of you to pick, and set three minor goals to accomplish before this year is over. That means all three goals need to be accomplished by December 31st 2017.
These three things can range anywhere from getting your grades up, cleaning your room more often, to losing 15 pounds, finally asking that lovely hooman you like out, or taking a jump into the career you want to be in. Whatever they are, make sure they are realistic for the time frame. (IE: 'meet the love of my life and get married' isn't really a realistic goal for three months.)
My three goals to accomplish by December 31st 2017 are:
*Get the first rough draft of my original novel written. (Even if it's horrible!)
Explanation: I've been putting off and getting stuck writing an original novel for years. This time, I'm going to bang out a rough draft, and worry about the rest for the next drafts!
*Make $100+ selling unwanted clothing, and nic nacs.
Explanation: Money is tight. I need money to see my long distance boyfriend. I have nice clothes I don't wear, and fandom merch and nic nacs that I don't even use or have out in the open anymore. It's time to sell, and make money for the future.
*Take a walk 4+ days a week every week for a minimum of twenty minutes per walk.
Explanation: My chronic pain makes it difficult to exercise. But I am going to push myself by taking walks at least four days a week for no less than twenty minutes. My goal isn't to lose weight, but to get the exercise I need. If I lose weight, it will be a perk.
What are your goals?
(You don't have to give an explantion unless you want to.)
Note: When you accomplish a goal, or your goals before 12/31/17, reply to your challenge reply telling us!
Pssst. If you don't accomplish them, that's okay too! Do your best.

Ooh, this sounds fun, and I really do need to make a goal list for myself. I guess the goals would be the following:
1. Finish three full characters sheets by the end of the year.
Reason: I've gotten much more prolific since getting my used laptop, and I already have front and back full bodies/outfit designs for a few characters. At this rate, there's no excuse, especially since I managed to finish art trades in a matter of days now.
2. Raise my posting speed up to a (mostly) consistent one-two times a week for at least a month or more.
Reason: I love RPing, but lately I've been feeling inadequate in my skills. I keep people waiting a lot because I expect myself to write the best posts for them and yet I don't have the mental energy to write more than a few small sentences, let alone a few paragraphs. I get the feeling that if I can just post more often without worrying about length and perfection, I can get more people interested in seeking me out. I may even earn a kudos for once because of it!
3. Be honest with my partners more often, especially when I'm no longer interested in a RP. (I.e. End at least one RP with honest reasons, or reach a more agreeable arrangement in one RP.)
Reason: I am shy. And a people pleaser. (You can even call me a social scaredy-cat and you would not be wrong in doing so.) I can never, never force myself to say, "I'm not interested" or "No" to people unless they drive me up the wall too much or it hits a subject I'm strict on automatically. Even then I'm somewhat lenient because I hate making enemies, even if it happens anyway. So I want to face my RP partners and tell them what's up with me more often... And also tell them when I'm not interested .in a RP anymore. I'm too scared to say, "I need to end the RP," when it needs to end. And that habit in itself needs to end really soon.
Yeah, that's long, and the last one might even take longer than three months, but I at least want to be honest with myself for what I want out of this year. There's many more, but that's just my top three.
