"Hey Lilac, you want to too see if we can find something small to hunt?"

She stood up, "Yes!"

He smiled "that doesn't sound like a bad idea, I'll join you, make sure we don't run into a certain individual. And maybe I can show both of you a special hunting skill."

"That sounds cool!" Lilac said. Jay walked up behind her, "So whats happening?"

We'll be doing a tad bit of hunting, nothing to dangerous, we'll be real close so don't worry." He smiled at the excited pup.

I look over to Jay. "Is it ok if we look after Lilac for a bit while Cynder fills you in?"

Jay sighed, "Sure just be safe and dont let her wander off.." Lilac smiled and started walking off

Wynbain quickly followed, "of course."

"She's safe with us" I say smiling. "Come on Lilac" I say, heading toward the forest.

Lilac ran forward and scented something, "I think I smell prey!" She whispered

Wynbain stepped up long side her, "good job, before you look though, I want you to tell me what it is, just my sent."

"I remember when Lupus was that young."
The black wolf said as she laid on her stomach, allowing her wings to fall loosely on the ground.
"He was so energetic."

Jay sat by her, "Was he just like how Lilac act? Or no?" Lilac nodded, "I think its a rabbit.."

"He was, and he was a tiny thing too. In fact he was born on a day called Halloween in other worlds. A day where beings celebrate the dead, and the creatures of the night roam freely across the realms."

"Hmm I never imagined Lupus being a small pup... and so this day.. Halloween..." Jay paused

"It's nothing to fear. It's just a day like any other in most aspects."

Jay nodded, "That day sounds interesting..."

"It is. It is indeed."
The wolf then stood, stretching her back before padding to the mouth of the cave.
"I wish we could sit around and talk of times past, but there is an important task at hand."
She said as she looked back at the other she-wolf.

Jay nodded and padded back to her own cave

He nodded, "excellent, now go catch it. Remember keep into the wind or he'll smell you."
