This will be a simple Pokémon RP that takes place during the events of Pokémon Sun and Moon; preferably with Axl taking over the role of the main character. I'd prefer the RP to play around the same storyline, but have a few differences from the regular plot. One of the biggest plot points for Axl is for him to confess his feelings towards Lillie, while the Island Challenge, the Aether Foundation, Team Skull, and the Ultra Beasts would also play some major roles within it.

Be warned, spoilers do exist through the RP. I really don't care too much about what Pokémon are on your team; but since we're just beginning, I'd like to ask that you keep legendaries and mythicals off the team until we get the final trial complete. I'll be throwing Jay sometime during the RP as well.

I'm looking for 1-4 people to join me in a PM based RP that's hopefully long term. I don't need novels or anything, but I ask for at least a paragraph. Decent grammar and spelling are nice. I'm not perfect, but I just want an effort. Since it is Pokémon, extensive combat scenes are expected, romance is possible (as that is one of Axl's driving points). Anything else, just ask me. Reply down below if you wanna join.

Color me interested! I'm new to this site but used to rp all the time before life got in the way. I may be a little slow to respond but I try to always have detailed posts. I don't have a full character worked up yet (or their team though I have some ideas) but I'll get something fully fleshed out in the next day or so. For now I'm thinking a hopeful poke-nurse (though thats a long way off and shes a bit scatterbrained though her hearts in the right place) with a team that's more focused on what she finds cute than what is necessarily strongest. She's more excited about the journey than the battles, but she'll still give em her all. Her team (down the line not right off) given the opportunity would probably end up with arcanine, goodra, alolan ninetails, dragonair, and Chaney.
I'm just kinda spitballing here. I'm more than willing to adjust anything if you think it's not a good fit. Just figured I would let you know I'm in if you'll have me!

If you plan on making Axl Rose the man protagonist, would you still consider traveling with a trainer looking to take on the league challenges?

Figure I'll ask now since I can be getting started on an alternate player route if you'd rather the simplicity of a regular Pokemon trainer.
