I don't know how to find someone who will roleplay what I like. Honestly, I've been trying but I don't get any messages when I post something? I mean, nothing I've seen in forums really interest me. I respond to them to give it a shot for something to do, despite it not really being what I'm interested in. And yeah, I know I don't have to respond to any but I don't know how to make it seem more interesting without it being so specific. I'm trying to make the RP itself a free range of what could happen and make it fair for everyone. It could be that I'm not waiting long enough but I also don't know how long it would take to get a response. So, even if someone just told me how long I should try waiting, it would be helpful to me and I would greatly appreciate it.
Things on RPR take a more leisurely pace most of the time. Have you made any posts on the forum detailing any plots you might want to get into, your preferences on settings, content and the like?
From your characters, it seems like you prefer more modern settings. I have browsed characters and the forums and taken a while to get into all the rps that I have. It's difficult to find rp partners that match your preferences in regard to settings, the course that rp takes, etc.

Yeah, I have. I looked at the article for that kind of thing and tried out things it suggested. Where I used to roleplay either people responded within a day or no one would at all. I think that's why I'm so quick to assume no one will respond. I'm not used to such relaxed environments where things take time.
I went from Furcadia, where there is active play, to RPR. Some people post every day and others post once every two weeks. I rp with some people who post like once a month. I just kept gathering up more and more rp to try and deal with it. PMs, groups, forums, etc.
