Anastasia nodded slightly to the introductions. "I'm uh...I'm Anastasia.." She shifted slightly, moving her balance from one food to the other. "I uh...I'm new in the area." She looked around hesitantly. "Is it...is it good for us to meet like this? Right out in the open?"
She wasn't quite so sure.
She wasn't quite so sure.
Erasai, who had been watching the three quietly while studying them, chimed in when Anastasia spoke. "Probably not. I know they are just rumors, but if there really are radicals near the city-state, then you won't be safe, especially in a noticable group." She motioned for them to follow her, down the sidewalk. She knew the cafe she had passed was welcoming to Unnaturals, and it was small enough not to attract unwanted attention.
Her hair swayed gently behind her, and she didn't look back to see if they would follow. If they wanted to stand in the open, that was their choice.

Flare nodded at Anastasia's introduction, but then frowned at the other girls words.
He saw the gester the one girl gave and decided to follow.

Raine nodded. "Alright." She followed the red hair.
Perry followed alongside her, changing colors rapidly. He couldn't decide his favorite right now.

Anastasia listened to the redhead and nodded. "Okay. That sounds like a good idea.." She followed along, watching as the group did the same thing. She wasn't used to being with people. Well, people like her. She was a tad unsocial. "So...have you all been here long?" Might as well try to start a conversation.
Erasai made her way inside the cafe, sitting at a larger table, seeming to drift off into thought as she did. Was it wise to associate herself with Unnaturals? She wouldn't stand out otherwise, but she wasn't one to just ignore someone just because of who they were. She hadn't mingled with many Unnaturals, and was curious about learning more. But she couldn't help but feel that trouble was just around the corner.
When Anastasia spoke, Erasai replied simply, "About two years." She then realized that only Anastasia knew her name, and introduced herself to the others quickly. "My name is Erasai, by the way."

The boy remained standing, "...I'm sort of new here, been here 3 months." He replied simply.
His ice-blue eyes beneath his hood darted between the members of the misfit group.
At Erasai's introduction he reluctantly spoke, "...My name is Flare."

Anastasia listened to them both, nodding a little. "I've been here for...a week I think." She sat down hesitantly and looked around. "It smells nice in here." The smell of coffee was wonderful, even if she didn't like drinking the stuff. She preferred the easier cappicunos and such. Normal coffee tasted horrible to her.
Raine looked at them but didn't say anything. She didn't want to tell them anything but her name; last time she had it hadn't gotten her anywhere good. So she just smiled at what Anastasia said. "It does." She dissected the smells, separating the nearly overwhelming coffee smell from the aroma of baked goods, whipped cream, and tea. There was also the faint whiff of water--nobody could smell it but someone of the affinity. It smelled fresh, like a spring. So they didn't use tap water here. Nice.
Erasai felt awkward now, seeing them uncomfortable. "Don't worry," she said, trying to ease their worries a bit. "The people here are Unnatural friendly. I believe their daughter is an Unnatural, though I haven't met her personally. Please, if you want anything at all, don't hesitate to order it. It'll be my treat." She hated seeing Unnaturals showing so much fear. But she knew it was hard, with the way most of the world was. It was hardly fair, but it couldn't be helped. Anything she could do to help them, she would.
Flare just relaxed, listening to the others talk, nodding a bit when they mentioned it smelled nice.
He looked to Erasai, then smiled a little, "I still don't think anyone really would be comfortable with my appearance." He chuckled a bit. "I don't mind though." He closed his eyes, "And thank you kindly for the offer, but I wouldn't feel right letting a woman buy me anything. It's supposed to be the other way around." He re-opened his eyes and glanced to her, a playful grin seen from under his hood.

Anastasia just listened to them all talk, thinking over Erasai's offer. "I like their smoothies.." she said quietly. She felt awfully rude asking the girl to buy it for her, but Ana was saving her money up for school supplies. "T-thank you, Erasai." She smiled slightly at the girl.
"I'm sorry. I'm just...not used to being around people. Sort of." She smiled sheepishly. "I'm not very good with people."

"Completely understandable," Erasai said, waving her hand in front of her face. "I know how it gets being an Unnatural. The stares and glares. But who cares, we are who we are." She glanced around the cafe, noticing they were now the only ones there besides the workers. She called an order of smoothies for each of them, and turned back to her new aquaintances. "Don't be afraid to show who you really are. It builds closer bonds with friends when you can show your true self." She grinned to each of them, but felt purely hypocritical for saying it.
Her eyes moved to the window of the cafe, peering outside. She saw a group of friends watching something, and pointing down the street. It didn't phase her at all what it might be. People were intrigue easily by uninteresting things.

((Sorry, I used the wrong character on the above post. I can't edit it, so just know it is actually this character. - If it wasn't obvious- lol ))

((Nooope. o-o I'm wrong. I never noticed that, for RP forums there's no edit button o-o))
((Edited my last post to start a plot point, trying to keep this thing alive. :x))
Flare smiled a bit at Erasai's words, "I suppose. It is a free town here." He pulled off the cloak and held it in his lap.
Other then his unique 'traits'... he actually looked pretty normal. He could almost be considered handsome, but his boyish baby-blue eyes threw off the look a bit making him look younger.
He followed the others eyes, trying to get a look. He was a bit more uneasy than most unnatruals due to his obviousness.

Anastasia watched the others, and briefly glanced at the same people outside the window. "So uh...it's nice to meet you all. Thank you for...being so nice to me." She smiled at the others.
After a moment she looked around again. She was a bit nervous. Antsy, but not too much.

Erasai smiled, glad that everyone was starting to feel comfortable. She started to say something, when she heard a couple of screams from outside, then lots of yelling. Across the street, a young girl, with cat-like ears was running down the sidewalk, being chased by a group of men in long dark coats. She didn't make it far before they tackled here, and, holding her against the ground, began binding her in ropes.
Erasai stood up quickly, throwing her chair out from behind her. The group of people near the window were yelling things about the "Purifiers". She couldn't move for a long moment, not sure whether this was really happening or not. She had heard about them, but they weren't allowed in a city-state that allowed Unnaturals to move about freely. She slowly snapped out of it, looking to each of the companions around her. "This isn't good... We need to get out of here."
