Hi people,
This time it's not a funny topic.
I'm looking at a friend doing bad life choices and don't know what to say more to prevent keep ongoing damages.
Anyone willing to talk and sort it out with me, pm me.
Thanks.

Could you develop a little more on this bad choices you mentioned?...It's ok if house don't feel like it, just asking to get a bit more in context.
Personally, how I aboard friends about stuff depends on how much confidence we have. With friends I don't know since too long I try to be least invasive on my suggestions...But if it's a close friend, I'll go for a "Don't be an idiot and knock it off" approach.
It also depends on what They're dealing with. If it's on an urgent need of fixing, don't doubt to get help from third parties. Sometimes it's better to get yelled at by a friend than see them suffer for their choices.
Before that maybe, and if the case isn't life threatening, you should do research on the subject. You may find out that the aftermath may not be as bad, or find good arguments that support you when convincing them on mending their choices. Always try to find for the root of the problem, as well, since knowing this is essential to find a solution.
Lastly, be vocal about your thoughts. this seems as nothing when thought, but friends usually care about their friends (that's the premise of friendship, actually). If you tell themme that you dint agree with their choices, or that their future worries you, it would help you on convincing them to reconsider.

One thing that should be mentioned is that yes you should try to help them if you can. However if they completely refuse all help, then there is nothing you can do. You can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped.
Well...
I just got to the point where talking seems helpess and except taking actions if there is a wrong-doing is the only real thing I can do.
