a young girl with long black hair, red eyes and wearing a kimono is running through the dark forest shes trying not to make to much noise as she breathes heavily and constantly looks behind her as she runs

as she quickly looked back she tripped over a fallen tree branch and toppled to the ground

she pushed herself off the ground a little when she suddenly heard a growl above her , she slowly looked up at the demon now standing over her and looking down with a menacing glare. she was ready to open her mouth to scream but the demon spoke to her before she could " You'll be tasty , wont you ... you look human but you smell like a demon , why"

the girl stared up at the demon and finaly was able to scream "AHHHHHH" her scream was high pitched and loud , so loud that it would be heard at the opposite side of the forest

Nico sprinted through the forest, carrying his sword in one hand he jumped over fallen trees. Spotting the demon he raised his sword, jumped, and slashed the demons shoulder. Nico knew it wasn't enough, he was injured already and only andreniline was keeping him ablee to even stand up. He grabbed the girl and retreated deeper through the forest. But Demons could track blood, Nico knew. hopefully that cut would hold the demon back long enough.

Sorry disregard the name Akuno Hitashi, My characters name is Nico.

shiko was taken back by the man who is carrying her , it took her a minuet to process what was happening when she finnaly realised the man carrying her was no demon she began to lose it " WAIT NO STOP IT" she kicked at screamed "NOOOOOO IF YOU DONT LEAVE ME YOU"Ll DIE" suddenly the girl stopped squirming and went limp in the mans arms

"Stop squirming!" Nico growled. He kept sprinting, even though he knew the demon would soon catch up with them. He just needed a good, safe place to put the girl. Nico was bleeding out, leaving a giant blood trail. "There." He placed the girl between a rock and a tree, placing branches twigs and leaves on top of the girl. Nico held his sword with both hands and turned to face he demon less than 20 feet away from him.

the demon stalkeed over the pair slowly ounce they were within his sights " you stole my meal" the demon growled out at the man " and now i guess ill haver to eat yo-" the demon paused and then turned to a pile of dust and standing behind where the demon stood was the little girl , some how she managed to get behind the demon with neither it nor the man noticing

she slowly turned to look at the man , ounce completely turned she was revealed to have soulless eyes that had nothing but hatred in them , and she was smiling , but it wasnt a normal smile it was filled with razor sharp teeth , and had blood spilling out the sides . her face was flat and dark the eyes and smile where the only to features noticible as she started to slowly walk over to the man " you should have listened"

"-The hell?" The girl was a demon too...if she could just obliterate that other one...then what would happen to me...?Nico thought to himself. Nico raised his sword, but knew if he didn't think of a plan he was gonna die immediately. "Well, come at me." Nico was used to demons, but this...this is a whole new level. Nico crumpled up and fell on the floor. He was losing blood fast, he had been wounded before saving the girl, wounded by another demon. Nico's world went fuzzy and he passed out in a pile of his own blood.

the girl stalked over to the man laying on the ground in a pile of blood , that continued to grow as he continued to lose blood , she stared down at the man with those menacing soulless eyes , she pulled back her arm. her sleeve slid down revealing her long blood stained claws .

she was ready to kill the man but for some reason she wasnt moving , she suddenly dropped her arm and her face returned to normal ,well almost normal her eyes where blurred with tears and she was pouting like no tommorow , she started to break down in tears " IM SORRY" she knelt down next to the man and held her arms over the mans wound " this is gunna hurt" power began to build up in her hands and the mans wounds began to heal , causing the man great pain in the process

Nico woke up to a horrible pain. What is she doing to me... is this how I'm going to die? Trying to save some girl that didn't need my help at all. No wait...my wounds... they- they're disappearing, and the girl... she's back to normal. So I guess she decided not to kill me... still why...I'm covered in blood for God's sake, thats like a demons dessert."What are you doing to me?" He asked, tons of questions circling in his mind.

all the little girl could muster up through her tear filled sobs was " im sorry " she repeated this over and over again as the wounds closed " im sorry ,i didnt want to , im sorry"

Nico simply chuckled, "Not as heartless as your demon half is." So she doesn't have the ability to control her demon half, is it violence, or blood, or what brings it out from her... and what lets her control herself again?"It'll be alright," Nico pat her head. She's harmless in her human form. Hey, "What's your name?" Nico calmed a little bit. "We need to find shelter...more demons will be able to smell the blood, if we stay here they'll kill us, or they'll try at least," Nico gave a faint grin.

the girl gave a slight nod as she whiped away the tears from her face " my name is shiko ... shiko fumiya"

the fumiya family is a prostigous high class rich japanese family that would explain th girls fancy looking kimono she wore

"im sorry" shw stood up and whiped some of the demons blood off her kimono " theres a cave not to far from here , where ive been staying"

Nico gave a slight nod, deciding not to worry the girl any further. Her kimono... rich class... could she be? And a cave she's been staying at... I wonder if she's come across any other demons. If so wat was so special about this one...? Questions for another day indeed.

shiko gestured for the man to follow her as she turned and walked in the opposite direction " excuse me , but what is your name" she glanced back at the man not slowing her pace at all

"Um, its Nico," Nico's last name he kept a secret, no one knew what it was or will ever know what it is. "So...how many demons have you actually encountered?" Nico asked. He picked up his sword and caaught up with the girl.

shiko looked forward watching where she stepped "encoutered .. over a 5 thousand" she seemed a little more calm now , not a pathetic as she may have come across at first ,

Glowing red eyes stare at the two from a distance. She had found a trail of blood and followed it carefully, finally leading to Nico and Shiko. She is wearing hooded green camouflage and a dagger lies at her left side.

"But your a half demon, how have you beaten them all. Although I've seen what you could do how have you done it without help?" How is it possible that a little girl can destroy these things in seconds but I can only barely destroy these things... it isn't possible.

shiko looked at the ground watching her feet step by step "well ... im not technically a half demon" she let out a long sigh as her pace slowed down a bit "im a full human , with a demon's soul trapped inside"

"Shiko..." Nico muttered almost silently, "We are being followed... can you sens if its a demon...?" We better talk anyways, we don't want whatver's following us to get suspicious. "So... can you control that demon inside of you, or does it control you...?"
