"Mm." Avia yawns. She walks over to the fire, sitting with a glazed look in her eyes. Her stomach growls. "Ah. Sorry. I just haven't eaten in so long..." Avia says with a surprised look. She forgets things like this sometimes.

Nico simply grumbled, turned to his side and muttered one word, "Food... Wait! How long was I sleeping, what did I miss... did anyone get hurt..." He said overcautiously. Nico put his head back against the cave wall, remembering the vision he had in the dream. I was so close to death, A giant demon just attacked me. Is this the demon that Avia is hunting down...? It is powerful. My neck was split and I was thrown to the ground. Korami's power saved me though... This is what remembered...

Avia glances over at Nico, "It's about time you got up. How are you feeling? Better?" She takes a bite of a demon hand. "Want some?" Avia offers a piece of demon arm to Nico.

Nico gave a blank expression and picked up Korami. "Thanks for the offer but I think I'll just eat normal food," Nico stood up and walked toward the cave entrance. Eating an arm...is she insane or something? besides how is Shiko still sane after all this..? Its cannabolism isn't it. Whatever I might as well just catch a squirrel or bird or something..

He turned back to the girl, "Yes...I'm feeling better," Nico lied.

Avia points to the fruits at the other side of the cave, "There's that if you want."

"Alright...that seems a little better," Nico smiled. He walked over to the somewhat large fruit pile and he picked up a nice fist-sized peach. Nico slumped down along the side of the cave and hummed as he ate the fruit. He used his sword to cut a small peice of the fruit and he passed it over to Avia. "Whats up eith Shiko shes just sitting by that fire all inocent... hey, Avia, come with me for a second..." Nico said walking to the end of the cave.

Accepting the peach and taking a bite happily, Avia asks, "What is it Nico?" She follows him to the end of the cave. She looks back at Shiko wondering why Nico sounded bothered by her sitting there.

"Do you remember when that demon said she was the demon king?" Nico thought. I remember her evil smile the blood around her mouth. She was truly the ultimate demon."Iv'e seen her demon form, she almost killed me. If we come across a demon and shes weak her demon form might come out..." Nico paused, "She's not in control of her demon form if she does get into that state," I remember being at her mercy, knowing death was coming. I don't know how but she controlled herself at the last moment."I'm just saying we need to make sure that if she gets injured...we need to make sure she stays here, I can handle the demon, just be careful for now alright? Don't let her leave this cave if she's injured."

Avia's red eyes glow for a bit, "All right. What if she does get out of control? Maybe we should tie her up." she says, absolutely serious. Avia brushes her blonde hair back as she looks at Shiko sitting by the fire.

"Rope isn't gona stop a demon like her..." Nico smiled if only it was that easy to stop a demon..."If she does get out of control we need to flee to the forest, thats our best bet, but hopefully it won't happen," Nico chuckled to himself.

"Rope would stop the child from going out and getting hurt," Avia growls. "She was out last night even, slaying demons. I don't know why she feels she has to do that... When I saw her she was covered in blood."

"She has to do that to survive...demons atrack her left and right. Yiu should've been out there helping her. You are gonna need all the elp you can get to get your revenge... now about the rope... we still will need her help slaying the demons. No offense but you have proven to be useless for killing demons. I can't handle a swarm of demons like the othe night though... we will still need her help killing demons, thats why we can't keep her in here. But if she does manage to get injured we need to fo our best to protect her..." Nico looked down again, then looked back to make sure that Shiko wasn't listening.

Avia sighs and nods. "You are right," she whispers through clenched teeth. "I could use help for getting my revenge. In return I will protect Shiko from demons and injury." Avia hates that Nico is telling her what to do. *I should snap his neck right now* she thinks to herself. *No, no. I need them both.* The young woman smiles, her red eyes glowing brightly.

shiko sighs and pokes at the fire with a stick before throwing it in " you know having the abilities of a demon i have excepsional hearing" she didnt bopther glancing up at the two standing at the entrance of the cave " and you dont have to worry , the demon in me , can never kill a human if he could he could just kill me"

Avia turns to Shiko, a smile on her face, "Really?" she asks, eyes round circles of glowing red. Avia didn't know that about the demon king. A weakness like that is something she can use! She growls an "Excuse me," and walks outside the cave. Putting her hand against a large rock, Avia tries to calm herself. *Just a little longer. Don't lose control. Not now.* she puts her other hand over her face, looking towards the entrance of the cave.

shiko nods and lays back on the ground "its fine, just remeber if you cross me ... i will kill you"

Nico walked over to Shiko who poked at the fire. "So... Being the demon king... is there any at all upsides." Nico paused, He knew the girl has been hu ted by demoms for a long time but then remembered that no ordinarry demon could probqbly even injure her. "AVIA!? Whats wrong?" Nico saw her leaning against the rock as if she were sick or injured.

Startled by Nico's sudden shouting, Avia turns and instinctively draws her blade. When she realizes what he said she puts it away. "Sorry, not used to people calling my name without wanting to kill me. Haha. I'll be all right, just felt a little light headed." She forces a pleasant smile at Nico.

A howl nearby causes Avia's eyes to widen. She grabs her dagger and darts back outside the cave murmuring, "It's finally here!" A nearby roar shakes the cave and causes the fire to go out.

shiko quickly stands up and runs after avia " this is what you where talking about!"
