I figured I would start off a topic of the vastly played story-line RPG, Assassin's Creed. Who has played the series and what are your thoughts? Recommendations? Strategies? Or anything intriguing.

I shall state a few of my own thoughts.

I've played the series when Ubisoft launched the first one. The controls were a wee bit odd, however, they were manageable and much similar to those of that Fable series. Though out of the four that have been released, I find that I enjoyed Revelations the best when Ezio's demise was evident; but not before he found that of his true love and wife in the end with Sofia Sartor.

I'm looking forward to the fifth article of the story which travels back in time to that of the Brits and American Colonies. I await eagerly for it's release in October of this year, and I do hope I am not alone in this matter. I could talk endlessly of the game and its contents as well as the story it projects, but then I would be typing a novel; and I am sure that would bore the majority.

I can assure you, you're not alone in it. Assassin's Creed III is among what Gamestop is pushing hardest in pre-orders, at least in our region and I doubt it's limited to this chunk of the map. It's got extremely high expectations and the hype to match it. I already have the collector's case for the game. Sadly, I'm going to have to delay picking up my pre-order of it because there's too much going on at the end of the year for us.

I haven't gotten to play Revelations yet. It came out when my PS3 was down while I worked for Gamestop, so I couldn't rent it, and now I don't work there anymore and can't spend that kind of money to play it right now. Got a baby on the way. I did love Brotherhood intensely. I expect great things of Revelations.

I'm also looking forward to AC3: Liberation, the Vita release, also on pre-order but forced to wait in obscurity as our life becomes more hectic.

My apologies to not having been able to check this status sooner. Though I do have a few tidbits to add. After playing the Assassin's Creed III, I must say I am in awe and in a state of confusion on whether to be mildly disappointed or saddened. I do not wish to relish the details as to why, in case there are those out there that have not yet completed the game. However, I will fancy you this. I was not quite intrigued with the ending Ubisoft had chosen for that one. Yet, I find myself curious as to what they have in the works to carry on this wonderful legacy of a story line into that of a fabricated History.

Those of you that have taken part in completing the game and wish to draw out this discussion further, by all means drop a message and I will surely get back to you.
