A tall man of about 6’ stalked down a quiet street towards the set meeting point. His long white hair flowed behind him from his hurried walk. His solid red eyes glowed brightly in the dimming light. The man looked to be in his early twenties, yet his eyes said he knew more then someone his supposed age should. In his left arm he carried a small female child, about five years in age, with white hair as well. Her eyes were rather normal other then their color. The left one was black, while the right one was red. One would assume she was the man’s daughter, which would be correct.
The man was hurrying towards a tree-line, past which was a clearing that had been set as the setting for the annual meeting of the Alphas of the world’s major werewolf packs. This time he had been late, earlier that year his mate had died in a despite between packs. It upset him greatly, but his daughter had been effected worse then he had been. After a time, the elders urged him to find a new mate, for the sake of his daughter, if not his own. Of course he tried, but as of now he had no luck. Not many would have anything to do with his pack, due to their differences, and none in his own interested him enough to even think about asking them to be his mate.
In time, after following the long winding path, he and his daughter reached the clearing, only to find it empty. No one else was there, yet at least. He was relieved slightly as it wouldn’t seem the he himself was late, as it was. He sat against a tree on the far side of the clearing, careful not to jostle his daughter as she had fallen asleep in his arms, and waited.

Magic is very common. Magic-tech, grand floating islands, forests that sing, magical creatures may be an every-day occurrence.
Near future, perhaps cloning and genetic manipulation
Combat is expected as part of the storyline but it won't dominate the plot.

Any race is allowed, It's a fantasy-Action mostly, with some drama. *Dun Dun Duuuuuun*
