It´s the near future and the world has been stuck in a new ice age. Luckily, the freezing was not cold enough to stop all life. A few plant and animal life were able to survive the conditions, but are plentiful. Human life goes on, almost, as normal.
You were a member in a village full of people who had survived the world´s changes. You went outside scavenging for plants to bring back when you stumbled on what looked like a metal trapdoor. You decided to enter. Going down, you see a rather fat figure standing over a desk, mumbling to himself. You walked closer and closer until he turned around, holding a gun aimed at you, ¨What ever you want, you won´t take without having a few holes in yah.¨ You tried to speak, but was scared of what you would say could kill you. Taking a deep breath and holding your hands, you speak...

"I didn't mean to tresspass here. I just saw this metal door while I was gathering herbs and spices. If its best to put your gun down because I'm not a threat to anyone. "

¨You better not. One wrong move and you´ll be in a body bag.¨ he said putting his gun down. He took off the mask he had, revealing that, he was just a child, ¨Now if you would be so kind just to leave.¨ he huffed and turned around.

Kino was little shock by his appearance that he wanted to laugh but he shouldn't. "Tell me kid, what is this place? I've never seen a hidden hide out before?"

"Its my home away from this God forsaken winter. Unlike some people, I can't stand the cold. So I live down here." he explained to him, setting his gun down

"Well not everyone can withstand the cold. So whats your name kid?"

"First off. I can survive the cold, I just hate being cold. Second, I'm Antero. You?" he asked

"Kino Onstone from the forgotten and abandoned tribe of Black Ice. You seem worthy enough to use a gun. Did you one of your parents taught you that?"

He froze up, then looked away, "Yes. They did." he turned away from him

Kino throw an apple on the air that inorder for him to shoot. "Hey kid! Think Fast!"

In almost a blink of an eye, apple was shot, "Didn't I say not to move?!" he yelled

Kino was impress with this kids reaction time and marksmanship "I'm impress kid, that the Goddess Frosa blessed you with that skill"

"Shut up. I can't waste anything I have, and I'm one bullet short now." he growled putting his wepon away.

"oh I see.."He grab something on his bag and its a box filled of bullets. "Surely you need this right?" he show it to the kid.

"You should always be prepared." he said looking down, "For anything."

He throw the box of bullets on the ground infront of him. " Don't worry there is no exchange for it. Consider it as a kind gift. I hate to ask this...Have you ever killed someone before/"

"Only animals. Why are you asking?" he said, tilting his head

" Just asking if some intruder walk in that he tries to steal your stuff. That he didn't take a warning that you kill him in for protection"

I don't like killing anyone, unless it is the last option." he said frowning

"Your a good kid...from the looks of your eyes. I see your are brave enough to face dangers." He turn around "Well its nice chatting with ya. I should continue my travel to Frozen Ruins."
