He looked through the photos and sighed, "Now I feel really sorry for him..." He went ahead and put everything back

But one image slip from the photo album. Its a picture of group of hunets..that Kino and Antero's father were on it.

"Hmm?" he picked it up, "What the hell?" he scratched his head, "What... How did he..." he didn't know what to say about this

After the conversation with the Goddess Frosa, He went back to the Inn that he touch the door knob and open the door.

"Kino!" He ran over to him and showed him the photo, "You need to see this!"

Kino was shock "Where did you get that? did you just..."

"From your bag. I know I wasn't supposed to look but I felt something, and I was right! Look!" he pointed to his father, "That's my dad! Next to yours!"

He sat down on the bed " Maybe its the time I'll tell you...."

He tilted his head, "What do you mean? Tell me what?"

"Tell me kid when the last time you see your father?"

"About 5 years ago, maybe more. He said he had an important thing to do. He never came back. I just thought he died in a blizzard or killed by an animal." he said scratching his head

"The truth is that operation is called Extermination of Winter rebels...Me and your father were brothers in arm during those times. He was talks about you all the time and its annoyed me much to hear that."

"I should have known! I didn't think animals had guns or swords." he chuckled, "Well, he did like his secrets. Wait, so... What happened. Did he die, or is he alive?"

Kino felt guilt on his eyes that he was afraid to tell him.

"Kino, tell me. Please," he begged, looking up to him

"Your father...he was killed...by our own comrade..."

"Wait... Killed by one of your own? H-How?! Who was he?" He was in shock. He knew deep down that his father was dead, but not killed like this.

" I dont recall his name...but I can recall his scar..."

"God damn it..." he sat down, "Did he go out fighting at least?" he asked, wishing for a little bit of light

"That betrayer...you dont need to look for him...because he is already executed with a crime of betrayal..."
