Monica and Roan take some herbs from the cave and sprint towards the forest again.

My eyes open slightly more and I realise Devil is lying by me. "D-Devil?" I say weakly. I sharp burst of pain runs through my shoulder making me wince.

(Here's an idea. We could ship Deme and Monica? )

(I was thinking that!!)

“Monica’s getting stuff to help” Devil said to Marik smiling uneasily. Deme stood up trotting over to them paused then walked back. Deme paced back and forth afraid Monica wouldn’t make it back.

(I'm pretty much assuming we're shipping Devil and Marik at this point lol)


Monica and Roan sprinted towards the cave. They quickly ducked into the entrance. Monica trots over to Marik and as fast as she can, she gets to work healing his shoulder.

(Yeah at this point there is practically no return lol)

Devil listened as Monica worked on Mariks shoulder. “I’ll be back” Deme said trotting off. “He gets nervous around blood” Devil explained as Deme ran off.

The same wolf that had told Marik about the hunter ran up to Deme growling. "What have you done with the Alpha's heir?" he snarled.

Back at the cave, Monica finished on Marik's shoulder. "That should heal decently and stop the blood" she said. "He needs rest though. Could be a while before he properly gets up."

Deme backed away from the wolf despite being the same size. I hope Deme will be fine.... Devil thought before saying “I should go check on Deme, he can’t really defend himself”. Standing up Devil trotted til she reached where Deme was. Devil dove between them growling at the wolf not letting him near Deme.

"The Alpha is dead. Now, Where the hell is Marik!" Snarled the wolf. Right before the wolf lunged at them, a voice could be heard from behind them. "I'm right here Toran" spoke the voice weakly.

(Yeah, this wolf is called Toran now )

“Why should I tell you?” Devil said to the wolf easily sidestepping away form his lunge. “I may be blind but I can still hear well enough to tell where you are” Devil added teasing him. Devil used her head to knock Toren over and glanced over in Mariks direction.

"Stop fighting" I groan weakly. Toran runs over to me "Alpha, what happened to you" he asks. "I was shot and these folk helped me so don't be harsh on them." I say weakly. "Also, please don't call me that." "But Alp-, Marik, you father lies dead so you are." Toran replies.

“Move it or lose it!” Devil shouted quickly pushing Toren outa the way and standing next to Marik to help him stand upright. Deme quickly brushed past Toren and mumbled “sorry”, he came up next to Marik and stood next to him also the two helping him stay upright.

"Excuse me miss, no matter how much you like him or want to keep hime safe, he is our Alpha. He has a responsibility to his pack" says Toran. "That is true" I say looking down.

“he may be your alpha but he’s MY friend” Devil said to him “and why you call me miss bro, that’s just weird” She added stifling a laugh.

"I call you miss because I don't know your name and as far as I can tell, your a female with no mate. Also, Marik knows well enough that his duty to the pack is more important than his friends" said Toran. Marik looks down.

“Well if your so ‘loyal’ to him why didn’t you help when’s he was bleeding out?” Devil said rolling her eyes at Toren “oh and don’t call me Miss, I’m the Devil herself” She added smiling Deme yawned slightly confused at the whole conversation.

Toran sighs. "Look mi- Devil, we would have helped if we knew where he was." I decide to speak up. "Stop your arguing" I say and look at Toran. "I will go to the Alpha's cave but I need rest. I've been shot for goodness sake."

“Need any help walking or you good? I’m sure Sakura could carry you or Ray?” Devil spoke up ignoring Toren Deme trotted off and returned with Ray. “Wait Rat don’t leave me!” Amos shouted running after him but hiding behind Deme and Ray at the sight of Toren.

"I think I'm good" I say, limping forward. "Toran, Announce to the pack that we have deer approaching the pack and tell them to not attack." "Yes Alpha" he responds before running off. I limp forward towards the clearing.

“I think they want to stay in that cave at night, at least until we trust the pack more” Ray said following Devil and Deme who were followings marik. Amos quietly followed behind Ray.

We get to the clearing and as I walk in I see Toran talking to some of the older wolves. I walk towards the Alpha's cave as I feel the gaze of all the wolves upon me.

Amos started walking closer to Ray clearly terrified of being surrounded by all the wolves- he only really trusted Devil, Deme, and Marik-.
