I look her straight in the eye, forgetting she's blind. "Please Devil, promise that whatever happens out there, you'll stay safe and not intervene. Promise for me"

"We should probably find the others" Monica says.

“I told you I can’t, I dot. Trust myself to make that promise” Devil said plainly.

“Ok” Deme said and started walking.

"Please" I say desperately "I couldn't bare it if anything happened to you"

"I'll race you" Monica exclaims before beginning to run.

“Nothing will happen to me, I’m untouchable!!! Especially with Ray being everywhere” Devil said slowly turning her head to a tree in wich Ray was terrible hidden. “You saw nothing!l” Ray shouted and bounded off.

“Hey not fair!!”Deme ran after her having a hard time catching up.

"I just don't want you to get too cocky and injure yourself" I say. "Its almost noon" Roan notes.

"Come on slowpoke" Monica calls back to him, laughing.

Sticking his tounge out at Monica he finally caught up.

“I’m not the one who’s full of them self” Devil said pointing to Roan with a giggle.

Monica smirked at him and ran a bit faster.

"Hey" Roan protested. I roll my eyes and laugh. A nearby bush rustles.

Devil froze her ears twitched.

Deme slowly caught up with Monica panting.

Before they can investigate, Monica sprints up to them. "How's it going guys?"

Deme was far behind and walked up panting.

“Did you to lovebirds run a marathon?” Devil asked giggling and Deme blushed.

Monica rolled her eyes. "It may have been like a marathon for Deme" she says giggling.

“Everything s marathon for him” Devil said and started talking again but was interuppted by Deme “stop!!” He was whining.

Monica laughed. I roll my eyes "Deme, may I speak to you in private?" I say.

“Sure?” Deme replied cunfused.

We walk away from the others. "I'm gonna need you to do something for me" I say seriously.

“Ok, what?” Deme asked following him a bit nervously away from the others.

"I'm to fight to the death tonight. If I don't make it, I want you to stop Devil from doing anything reckless. You two need to get away if I die"

“I can’t stop Devil!! One time we were watching a wolf hunting and he almost killed a innocent bunny. I tried stopping Devil from killing the poor guy, he survived but I got this” Deme said and rolled onto his back showing a long jagged scar on his underbelly.
