Ok I'm in the middle of making a group for group rp I want to do. It's only half finished as I have been slowed by getting sick and figuring out how I want to do some things. That's not the issue tho, the issue is that it will be my vert first time GMing so I''m nervous about that. Now I know the only way I will get experience is by actually gming, but I am hoping to at least get some advice and maybe if I am lucky a more experienced collaborator? I have someone I asked to help me earlier and they have helped me make up my mind on a few things, but I don't think they are going to be very active due to RL reasons which is 100% understandable. So I'm just hoping to see if someone else would be willing to collaborate with me.
First off is a question I want to ask. I was thinking of mentioning on the group home page that it will be my first as a GM. However I was wondering f that would just scare off everyone? Now I'm not talking about hiding my newbie status, but maybe putting it somewhere still very visible, but not on the front page. The idea behind that is that maybe after reading the group, they might be more inclined to give me a chance?
Now I have a rough idea of how I want the group plot to go, worked out most of the setting details/mechanics and have a mostly settled idea of rules/character rules. Mostly I just got to get it all written down. However are there any other things I should think about?

Help please?
Howdy!
Personally I think being honest can't hurt too much, everyone has to start somewhere and giving the group a heads up really shouldn't be an issue. Put the note where you feel it should go.
Something to keep in mind, be prepared for the unexpected and try to be flexible. Be ready for story detours or trying to figure out how to connect plot points if characters do something crazy or unexpected. Other than that, I hope ya'll have fun.
