Hullo everybody. My name is Damiyen...that's not a character name, and it's obviously not my profile name, but rather just my real one. I tend to enjoy getting to know people on a first name basis. ^_^

Of course, I don't expect anyone else to just give out their name like that, but I'm certainly hoping to earn it at one point or another!

So, I've been looking around a lot. Looking for a place where I could meet new people, preferably roleplayers, to make stories and adventures with. MY luck with online communities in the past has been...sub par, mostly due to my own faults and personal anxieties, but I'm willing to give things another shot here. My current occupation is a little demanding (and that won't be changing anytime soon), but while the start here might be a bit slow, I hope I can become an active member given a little time.

So far, no real questions! I'm mostly just exploring the site and seeing what my options are in terms of joining groups and things like that.

And, to answer your question, I'm currently working as a service member in the military. Marine Corps, to be specific on the branch. ^_^
