This Looking For RP topic is marked as closed, meaning it is no longer seeking new players.
I am seeking as many as are interested in a Longterm, Paragraph/Literate style Roleplay with a lot of World Building, Space Exploration, and a Sci-fi tech based plot. The concept of this Roleplay came to me when writing a small, random drivel, and I have taken care to polish it to usefulness.
The plotline of this Roleplay will involve a lot of world building and exploration. You will notice I have included a little of the 'Magic' genre to this obviously Major Sci-fi Roleplay. That is because this "Hole" was created, and the planets on the other side, will have newly "born" deities just coming to awareness of their planets and their own sentience.
There are four planets, and as such, I will be accepting four Deity players in addition to 6 Explorer players. Further details can be given once I have selected applicants. If you wish to join, please reply to this post with a sample of your best roleplay work. I will be looking for length [three paragraphs, at least], details, and quality of writing [spelling, grammar, punctuation, etc].
Thank you kindly for your attention.
It is the year 8748.
Planets and moons have been colonized by humans for centuries, reaching far beyond the known universes the primeval Hubble Telescope once captured on film. Worm holes are used regularly, great star vessels the size of planets hold civilizations and ecosystems. Technology has reached its pinnacle, and exploration, its zenith.
Sentient races have been found on many new worlds, and with the discovery of alien life, came the Coalition. Primitive in culture or advanced in technologies, it mattered not. Once a probe had found any signs of thinking, reasoning beings, a flagship was sent their way, loaded with Ambassadors whose mission was to make contact long enough to make it known that their planet was from then on, a part of the Universal Coalition.
Then came the colonists - wayfaring star walkers of as many combined races as was possible, in order to represent the mission of the Coalition - who settled down on the newly adopted world, and took the still bewildered sentients under their wing to better them.
It is the year 8956.
And not a corner of the vast web of Space has been left undiscovered.
The Edge has been found, a misty border where light is swallowed by perpetual darkness, as if the entirety of the heavens lay within a black hole, a brightly speckled egg nestled in the hollow of an obsidian nest.
Nothing is new, all is known.
Within; Life. Without; Void.
It has been this way for centuries.
Until the unfathomable occurs.
A shifting in the vastness of the map. A shudder that dimmed the light of all stars, suns, for the span of a day and a night. A shiver through the cloth of the universe.
When all, at last, returned again to normality, there was something new.
A Guard Station drifting at the Zeltrin Quadrant of the Edge sent a panicked representative to the Coalition's Senate, bearing a single Archichip with a holographic projection of what had them shaken.
A languidly spiraling hole in the darkness of the Void.
It is the year 8957.
And you have been chosen to travel through the hole in space with a select crew. Your mission, directed and ordained by the Coalition Senators themselves, is to document all you see and find on the other side.
It is the year 8957.
And something has changed

And something has changed
Plausible legends of ancient magic, but current magic is not common.
Far future, perhaps galactic teleporters and fast terraforming
Small possibility of combat, usually brief and not detailed.
Details: Freeform, paragraphs required, long-term RP partner preferred.

As I know very little of Destiny, I will allow you the choice. Which is your best or better played character?
I think Fireteam Ahamkara could do well.
Pyre-5 is a human on the inside but robot on the outside, or an Exo Warlock, focusing on the powers of the Light.
Vetra is a human with blue skin and purple hair, an Awoken Huntress of the Reef.
Aaron is just a human Titan of the Last City.

((Would you like an rp sample directly related to the material posted? Or merely any sampling taken from previous rp's?))
hi im interested i even came up with my own lore for my character
I'd very much like like to join. Any room on this crew for AI with a robot body? or a Heavy weapons guy? or some feral cyborg girl?
I'd be up for this. And I'm with BreezyDawn in her inquiry: do we give you a response to the paragraphs below the intro or just any sampling of our RPing work?

This seems perhaps to be an abandoned thread. Too bad
