Hi everyone!
I'm Dillyfire, or Dilly. I've been roleplaying for ten years now, on Livejournal, Dreamwidth, an Escaflowne forum and in IMs. I've been looking for somewhere to meet new people and try out new characters and you all seem like an exciting community!
I began as a canon character RPer, playing from various anime, books, and webcomics, but over the last few years I've transitioned into an OC player. I have a weakness for strong-minded warrior women, alien species, cultural outsiders, and scientifically minded geniuses. Among my RP career I've spent three years in a sci-fi horror game, half a year in a world-hopping adventure game, several months running an Escaflowne sequel, and had a short stint in a fantasy mystery fairy game. My largest group had over 200 characters and my smallest have been 1 on 1 games.
I've been working on a novel that's never gotten further than one scene and a lot of scribbling ideas in notebooks, but maybe this NaNoWriMo I might be able to get something written. (A woman can dream) A few of the characters from this story may debut on these very forums as I explore their personalities.
I'm from the UK and work 9-5 on weekdays, so I'm usually on in the evenings unless I catch a little time at lunch. Please forgive how blunt I am in my profile about my limitations and No's, but a decade in RP has taught me it's best to be on the same page with my other RP partners from the start. I am a fan of the Oxford comma.
I'm looking forward to discovering new RP frontiers!

Welcome to the site. Sounds like you have had quite the road with roleplaying. I know how you feeling about strong female characters. I tend to gravitate towards them too.
