My name is Dray, and I've been RPing since 1999 across all sorts of platforms. I'm an art grad with a BDes in Character Design, though I spend more of my spare time writing than drawing. I love that your platform is so welcoming and intuitive. You rock!
To help me get on my feet, I'd love if you spent a moment or two to tell me what your favourite feature of RPR is, or your favourite group, or maybe your favourite characters? So far, I think the coolest thing about RPR is the game-type selector--I don't think I've seen that sort of functionality in an RP site.
I love chatting about world-building, characters, plot-bunnies, and art. If you're looking for someone to do a beta-read of your profile or RP ad, I'm happy to lend a hand. I'm not quite ready for threading or getting to the brass tacks of RP, but I do love the meta of it. Feel free to toss me a line if you want to chat. o/

My favorite thing about the RPR is the people, hands down. But I'm also super pleased with the fact that you can turn any forum topic or private message conversation on the site into a live chat at any time, and go back and forth between them seamlessly.

I'm wondering if private RP (aka PM RP around here?) can be done through character inboxes, or is there a central inbox where you stash messages from multiple characters?

There IS a PM feature. To start a conversation with someone, click the name of the person/character you want to chat with. If it's a person(player/writer), it'll take you to their profile, click 'send message' ont he left-hand side. If it's a character, the 'send message' will be on top (on mobile it'll be in a little menu bar on the top right.).

Welcome! and hmmm favorite function??....hmm i think that must be the character customization, since you can do as good as anything you like apperance and function wise^^ its awesome! though, you can do that with pretty much anything else here so xD
Favorite group? well i havent joined that many yet and i havent been very engangeing in them soo....i'll come back on that one.
And for my favorite character...which i assume you mean my own then....hmm....i dont really know....i love them all really. Though i do love my fairy character Briezy a hell lot since she is so diffrent and challangeing^^

FantasyDreamer, I really need to look into the character customization thing! It feels very much like DreamWidth in some ways (making layouts nice, having multiple entries/pages for character info) but at the same time it's quite different. Do you have to be a paid member to customize character profiles?
