I honestly just joined yesterday, I made a RP that got a couple people interested and I joined one. So how does this work, where do we rp, in a chat or on the forum.

You are free to use the forums (which double as live chats -- all of them can be converted with the "Launch chat" button), private messages, or even create your own group with your own private forums. It's really up to you which area will work best for what you want to do.
