Fifteen years since the death of King Jostalph, the land of Avaemor is in great peril as the north and south fight over leadership. The Dark Human/Elf empire of the Red Dragons, lead by Lord Dagothan the cursed, has taken the northern front while the valiant Light Humans, Elves, and Dwarves of the Blue Eagle Alliance, lead by the wise King Merlon, defend the south of this great land. Atop this, bandits have been razing cities, monsters have gotten out of control, and the entire world is in complete disarray. Families are forced to fight each other from opposing sides, villages shattered by the Dark War, leaving hundreds to mourn for the dead and flee to the safety the Golden Moths, a once reclusive cult in the mountains, have to offer.

You are a captive of a recent bandit raid on an unsuspecting village, awaiting your fate on the arena grounds. Or you serve as a courier for King Merlon, carrying the messages of allegiance to undetermined leaders. Or perhaps you serve on the farms in the outlands, waiting for opportunity to knock on your door. Whatever the case, the Gods have chosen you to bring peace to Avaemor once again, before the world is torn apart. Do you take the challenge?

You can join the Red Dragon Empire, the Blue Eagle Alliance, or the Order of the Golden Moth.
Play as...

Red Dragon Races:
Dark Human- Humans corrupted by the Darkness, skin pale and eyes black or red. Wielders of Dark magic.
Dark Elves- Elves also corrupted by Darkness. Have an apathy for both Light and Dark magics.

Blue Eagle Races:
Dwarves- Short and stoick people who dwell in the mountains. They use no magic.
Light Humans- Humans of normal creation, blessed by the light. Adept users of Light magic.
Light Elves- Moon Elves, Sea Elves, and High Elves combined into one force. Master users of Light magic, though some have
used Dark magic before.

Unaligned Races:
Halflings- Half-tall people, live in the mild southern places and have no interest in war.
Orcs(Human-like)- Dwell in the mountains of the Far West, have no interest in the Dark War.
Lizardmen/Argonian(Saxhleel)- Half man, half lizard. Live in the swamps of the East.
Catfolk (Or Neko, Khajiit, or whatever you call them)- Half man, half cat. Live in the plains of the South.

For the roleplay, I will be using only one character, but he includes two other important characters and a few groups of non-essential characters.

(Narrator)Bold Text for Narrator.
(Dagothan)Dagothan will have normal text and name before it.
(Merlon)Merlon will also have normal text and name before it.
(Red Dragon Mercenaries, soldiers, advisors)Same as above
(Blue Eagle soldiers, advisors)Same as above

You can use up to 2 characters, if you want to dive in deep. Roleplay will be posted in the Fantasy Forums area, labeled as "The Divide of Avaemor" (Open)

Use this forum for OOC, and the other for IC only.

Aww only 2 characters?! Uhmmm I'm going to have to think really real hard to choose just 2 characters
I guess... It will be Calico and Aynor then

- Calico: Opportunist, selfish thief/bandit, taking chances and risks to greedily get richer
- Aynor: skilled assassin/bandit with more honorable intentions / inclinations at heart

Well, in truth, I was expecting on of the others to choose that role, or it not be there at all. But if push comes to shove, perhaps I shall fill the void left by my mistakes. (Yes, in short)

1 captor vs the world is way too godmodish... I need my band of brigands or 2 bands of brigands about, make it a little more credible
