Whats everyone's favorite headcannons for whichever fandoms?
I just wanna hear some headcannons.

For pokemon, I have a headcannon about trainers and type affinities. In my mind, certain trainers have types, like pokemon do. Except they aren't able to make tangible effects for the most part. Psychic, ghost, and fighting trainers are the noted exceptions, since they can visibly affect the world by their type.
Psychic trainers do psychic mind-warp things, like bending spoons or reading thoughts.
Ghost trainers see dead people, and talk with spirits. All that fun ghost jazz.
And fighting trainers do crazy training things to their bodies to get their fighting strength. Stronger and tougher than the average human fighters, and stuff.
But other types probably have other special abilties, too. Grass type trainers are probably green thumb extrorndinaires, able to make things grow in impossible places. Water type trainers moving with ridiculous levels of power and grace through the water. Rock type trainers with exceptional toughness... etc.
Sorry this got a little long. Hope you enjoyed it, though!

rolled 2d4 and got a natural 4. After the modifier of +2, got 6
For luck!
Ohhh headcanons! There's some good ones out there, man.
Battlestar Galactica -- Kara's father was Daniel. This has been Word of Godded right out of existence, but her storyline just makes so much sense if she's a human-cylon hybrid. For real though, Ron Moore poo-poohed the idea so hard, but it would have been such an elegant a solution to why Kara was so messed up and what happened to the missing member of the Final Five. I know they were going for ~cosmic mystery~ re: Kara, but that was a disappointing end to her arc.
Star Trek -- Data does have feelings (pre-emotion chip, even), they're just low-key. Because no one can explain what feelings feel like independent of the squishy meat-body sensations that come with being an organic life form, he never really identifies them.

Thank you!
I can't really take credit for the Data one, it's something a friend said once that just made so much sense to me. I mean, he really does react like he has feelings a lot of the time. He worries about his friends, he loves his cat and Geordi, he feels kind of bummed out when people don't think he's a person.

As cool as it would be (I love Star Trek) it is actually confirmed that until he gets that chip, the closest thing to emotion he has is his natural programming to help humanity. If you want to find where Data permanently gets emotions, to a point at least, there's a book series set after his death where his father revives him into his body with a lot of upgrades, including an emotions chip that can't be shut down or removed. I know it seems like Data has a lot of empathy and whatnot in the show, but Soong explained that as his programming to help others, basically as a step up from Lore's programming of ambition that turned him into a sociopath even with the chip. The main reason he acts like that is because he tries to emulate emotions, like when he attempts to learn how to laugh, or to smile, or many other things. Basically Data's display of "emotions" are more from a "fake it 'til you make it" scenario. It's a cool headcanon though!
Mine is less headcanon and more of a fun fact; Neville Longbottom was always a skilled wizard. Within the books, we see Neville do absolutely terrible up until the last three when he joins Dumbledore's Army. After having his wand broken while in the Ministry, he gets a new one, stating that it may have been one of the last sold by Olivander. What do we notice about his magic after this though? It gets good. Almost as good as the "Golden Trio". Here's why, in my mind at least. That first wand he has is his father's, meaning he didn't pick this out in s store. That means the wand didn't choose him. Because of that, it really didn't work for him at all. After getting his new wand, though we don't see much of its use, we're made clear on just how good he gets when he steps up as one of the new leaders of DA, and is the one to step up to Voldemort like it's nothing. So...yeah. Longbottom for the win!
I'm a skank for harry potter head cannons and I have a lot that are basically ripped from Tumblr, and then some that aren't really Harry Potter focused as they are connectable to Harry potter
I had one for Vampires in general that I use for Harry Potter roleplays where they could sustain themselves on coconut milk, but since the whole 'COCONUT MILK SUBSTITUTE FOR BLOOD' thing has been proven a myth, i need to update it lmao
Also, kicking out the whole reason Vampires couldn't see themsleves in mirrors was because silver was considered a 'holy' metal, and vampires weren't holy, and mirrors were made out of some silver stuff, I have a head cannon where vampires can see themselves in the mirror as age if they weren't a vampire until they reach the age where they naturally would've died, then they seem nothing.
But, now that I know nothing just dies of old age, but of sicknesses associated with it, i need to fix that too :^ )))

Through the power of real science I'm losing all my fictional headcannons help
