Sair laughed. "Well then, I'm going to show you!" He grinned and started poking and nudging her gently to start moving her body. "Just feel the music, Ariadne. Feel it through your body. The bass is loud enough to feel through your feet, so just let it travel up the rest of you!"
She was beginning to turn red. Why was this happening to her? This was more mortifying then anything she'd experienced as of late. It was one thing to dance around totally drunk, in a room full of totally drunk people. That, she might have been able to handle. It was quite another thing, to be totally sober.
However, being the push over she was, she made some, half hearted attempts. Graceful she was not. Tomato red, she was.

Sair rolled his eyes. "That's pathetic, come on! You're not feeling the music! Close your eyes, Ariadne. Close 'em and just block everything else out. Feel the music pumping through you, and move to that. Nothing else matters." He started dancing himself, closing his own eyes and dancing around to the music that was being played.
Ariadne, though totally embarrassed, and not at all pleased with the situation, did as he asked. It became much easier to go along with, when he closed his own eyes. Thank god, at least he couldn't see her making a fool of herself. She danced with a bit more passion this time.
Sair only had his eyes closed for a couple moments. Then he opened them sneakily and grinned as he watched her dancing. "That's a lot better. See? It's not so hard!"
Ariadne was imitating a tomato again, as she realized that he'd been watching. She stopped directly. God, why did he want to see her make a fool of herself so badly? He must hate her, that was the only explanation, she thought cynically.
Sair sighed. "What, you're really that much of a stiff? 'Omg, it's so terrible a guy is watching me daaance!' " he whined in a high-pitched voice. "Seriously? Loosen up. If I need to go out and buy you beer to get that stick out of your ass, I will." He rolled his eyes. "I'm not going to hang out with a stiff."
To be fair, It was more anyone watching her dance that was the problem. This was exactly her problem. To dance for someone was personal,at least to Ariadne it was, and Ariadne, didn't do personal very easily. She also didn't much like being called names. She crossed her arms over her chest, what may have been construed as a defiant gesture, but was actually more of a protective one. She felt judged, this may have been a reason she pushed everyone away, through work and the like. She certainly wished she was anywhere else but there at the moment.
Sair lifted a brow as she crossed her arms like that. "What? Got something to say?" He crossed his arms too. "If you have something to say, then say it. But then again, you're such a conservative, prissy girl that you probably can't even dream of talking back to someone."
There was a method to his madness. He wasn't being mean, he was egging her on, drawing her out of her closed shell. Whatever was holding her back, whatever was keeping her locked in herself, he meant to break it down.

Ariadne snapped. She'd in the past, always been able to block her anger, or direct it somewhere else. This time, there was no one, or nothing to direct it on by him. It was almost as if someone else had taken control of her mouth.
"Better then being an easy to anger, pushy jerk!" She regretted the words the minute they left her lips, and her eyes may have welled up with tears.

A ghost of a smirk crossed his lips for a moment, and he shrugged. "I doubt it, at least I have fun. You just can't do anything fun, can you? Such a prick, thinking you're too good for fun, too good to have anyone around, huh? Just 'too good' for us, huh? Too neat and prissy." He was slowly drawing out whatever reason kept her so away from everyone else. The best way to get out honest information was anger. He knew this.
"Oh yes, you have SO much fun. Looking over your shoulder all the time, avoiding home, and resorting to crashing on random stranger's couches, because you don't have friends of your own! BEFORE you go on trying to figure out why I push people away, PERHAPS you should look at YOURSELF"
Again she regretted the words, she had no control of it. He wouldn't get another outburst from her. She broke down in tears.

Sair blinked when she suddenly started crying. He stared in surprise for a moment, then looked away awkwardly. He didn't know how to deal with crying people. He sighed and rubbed his neck a little. "...listen, I went a bit far with that. I was trying to get you to open up more, and the only way I know how to do that is through anger." Was this...an apology? It was the closest he could get to one.
"If you're worried about the stuff you said, I don't care. Really. It doesn't bother me at all."
"If you're worried about the stuff you said, I don't care. Really. It doesn't bother me at all."
Ariadne wiped quickly at her eyes, embarrassed that she'd cried. She took a few minutes to calm herself. She had cried, yes because she'd felt bad for the words that she'd said, not that she hadn't meant them. She had also cried, because, his words, though misguided, were somewhat true, but it was so much worse then that. It had forced her to face something very disconcerting about herself.
In an effort to disprove in her mind, some of the things that he'd said, she'd realized why she was the way she was.
Her voice was miserable, and still a little shaky as she replied. "I'm sorry all the same."

Sair shrugged. He felt awkward, with a crying girl. He wasn't sure what to do, so he just kind of stood there, hands in his pockets, not really looking at her. He felt like she didn't want him to see her crying. He sighed a little bit and turned off the music. "Uh...what do you want to do?"
Ariadne wiped at her eyes again, and calmed her breathing. She wished briefly that she could have been anywhere else for her charming little break down. Eyes still red, but sobbing subsided, she shrugged her shoulders.
Sair sighed and gestured for her to follow him upstairs. He sat down in the great room, gesturing around at the movies. "Pick one. I can make some popcorn if you want."
Ariadne followed Sair back up the stairs into the great room. Movie watching, that was something she was comfortable with. She poked through the DVD rack, looking for something that caught her interest. She picked a horror movie she hadn't seen, her secret addiction.
"I wouldn't say no to popcorn."
"I wouldn't say no to popcorn."
Sair got up and made his way to the kitchen, putting in some popcorn and then getting a couple sodas for them. He grabbed two bowls, put the popcorn into both, then brought the bowls and sodas back and set them on the coffee table. Then, he'd set up and start the movie.
Ariadne went and settled herself on one end of the couch, her legs folded underneath her. While he went to go get the popcorn, Ariadne allowed herself to be lost in thought.
