Sair relaxed contently, watching the movie with her. He loved a good horror flick, so he enjoyed it greatly. He didn't give much talk, instead letting her to herself for now.
Ariadne ate her popcorn absently as she watched the movie. She loved a good horror movie, and this one was excellent, excellent enough for her to have forgotten her troubles for the moment. In no time at all, she was on the edge of her seat.

Sair was pulled into the movie as well, jumping slightly whenever something suddenly appeared on screen. He was grinning, though, enjoying every single moment of it. It was good to be able to have something the both of them enjoyed. He was just glad she wasn't crying anymore!
The movie had gotten scarier near the end, and Ariadne had jumped several times, though the smile remained on her face. When the movie finally ended, she turned to Sair. "That was excellent, I can't believe I hadn't seen it before now!"

Sair laughed softly and nodded. "Yeah, that was pretty good. I'm surprised myself that you haven't seen it!" He chuckled and leaned back. "It was a good movie. So uh...feeling any better?"
Ariadne blushed some, at his mention of her earlier outburst, but nodded. "Yeah, I'm...okay. Sorry again that I yelled at you... I know that you don't care, but...I'd kind of promised myself I wouldn't, I imagine you hear it enough from your parents.."

Sair shrugged. "I don't care. Like you said, I get it from my parents, so I'm used to it. Besides, I was egging you on, so I deserved it that time." He looked at her. "It's just awkward having a crying girl around, honestly." He rubbed his arm a little. "....Sorry, y'know. About that."
She looked at her hands, and shrugged. "Maybe I needed to hear it..." She said quietly. She shook her head, then, clearing it of negative thoughts. If she'd been at home, she might have gotten drunk at this point, as she was apt to doing, when she felt a bit depressed.

"What do you want to do now?"

Sair looked at her. "Uh...no. Someone like my parents deserved that, but not you. There's nothing wrong with you. You're just..." he hesitated a moment, then decided to come out with it. "You're insecure, aren't you?" He lifted an eyebrow.
Ariadne signed some, now she really wanted a drink, he was psycho analyzing her. Still she answered truthfully enough though, blame it on her relaxed state, or her tiredness from her earlier emotional outburst.

"...I guess I probably am. No one has ever regarded me with anything more then a polite disinterest...so why shouldn't I be.." It was the truth too. Even her own parents hardly cared what she did with her life, they found her as boring as everyone else did.

Sair looked at her for a moment, then leaned back and shrugged. "So? What's that matter? If your worth is measured by how many people like you or are interested in you, well I'd be pretty emo right now!" He chuckled a bit. "You don't need someone else to make you feel like you're worth something. To make you feel good about yourself. You just need you! Really, that's all it comes down to in this world. The only person you need is yourself." Well, this WAS coming from Sair, after all. He didn't exactly have anyone else anyways.
Ariande didn't much care for his analysis of her situation, true as it may have been. Firstly because it was easier said then done, and secondly because she felt it was somewhat flawed. How could someone keep their self confidence when everyone around them was continually crushing it? Besides, as she'd pointed out before, during her somewhat embarrassing outburst, Sair didn't seem to be all that happy. Surely he didn't have all the answers. Still if there was one area he didn't lack in, it was self-confidence.

Sair soon got a call on his cellphone, which he answered. "Hello? What, really?" He sighed. "Alright. Thanks." He hung up and got to his feet. "Well, I'm being looked for." He smirked. "They're mad. They're mad I'm hiding you. Just stay here for now, alright? I'm gonna go answer their snooping little call." He headed to the door, then just walked right out.
Who was mad? Ariadne hoped he wasn't going to go out, to pay a little visit to the gang member's currently after their hides. It hadn't worked out that great for him the last time. What if he got stabbed again? She chewed on her thumbnail worriedly, in silence. What if he got himself killed? Could be his parents too, she supposed. Was that better? or worse?

Sair was gone for three hours, then he came back. He was beaten and bruised, a little bloody, but it was nothing serious. And he was grinning. "Well, I left another message. Seems they're not getting the point." He chuckled and went to the sink in the kitchen to wash the blood off his face and body. "Hope you weren't too bored while I was gone."
Bored? no, she'd been terrified. Terrified that they were going to cut him up again, and maybe not fail this time. The minute he walked in the door, and over to the sink, she would have quickly walked over to him, to make sure the damage wasn't worse then it appeared. Assuming he didn't push her away, she would check him over, rather frantically for stab wounds and deep cuts, concussion, that sort of thing.

Sair sighed and let her go crazy over his injuries. "I'm fine, sheesh. Worry much?" He would move away after a few moments and start washing again. "I'm fine. I think I'm learning with each fight, so you don't gotta worry."
Ariadne groaned, and slid herself into a kitchen chair. So he would do it again? of course he would. Great. Well, at least he hadn't any life threatening injuries this time. She supposed that was a plus.

"Your gonna get yourself killed.."

Sair looked at her. "Nah. And if I do, what does it matter?" He shrugged and finished washing himself off, then sat down on the couch. He glanced at the time and groaned. "They'll be back soon..." His parents. Great. He hated when they were around the house, and now she knew why.
Ariadne let out a small sigh at his retort. She would care if he got himself killed, strangely enough, but she supposed that didn't matter to him all that much. She certainly wouldn't say it, simply rubbed her temples, trying to ease the stress headache that had been steadily building since he'd left.

She followed him to the living room and slid into a chair, taking a look at the clock as well. Great. "What time do they get back?"
