Ariadne laughed between bites. "Speaking of that, you're not planning on leading any other gang members back are you? Like, you can keep your...er..whatever it is you do, away from me yes?"
Sair chuckled. "Yeah, yeah, I'll try to keep my trouble away from you, I promise." He smiled and ate his own meal, then when he was done he put the dishes away and stretched.
Though what she had said had been mostly in jest, she looked greatly relieved when he told her that. She would have to admit, that it was a worry. Not that she didn't trust Sair to protect her.
Sair knew that there was truth in the joking. After all, he was indeed a bit of a troublemaker. Well...a LOT of a troublemaker. So what he had to do was simply not cause trouble near Ariadne or anywhere she worked!
She finished her food, and took her plate to the kitchen, taking the time to wash it up, and throw it back into the cupboard. "So what are you going to do with your first night of freedom from the jerks?"
Sair thought over the question. "Well...I have no clue." He laughed a bit. "I think at this time of night, I'll be lame and sleep." He shrugged. "You should sleep too. You've been busy all day."
Sleep, that was a noble plan. Yeah, she could pretty much do that. She laughed and headed towards the door to her room. "Sounds like a plan, see ya in the morning."
Sair nodded and waved at her, then stretched out on the couch and pulled his blanket up over himself. Sleep was always good. In the morning though, he ended up waking up before Ariadne did. And since he had, he started making some breakfast. He was hungry, after all.
Ariadne emerged from her bedroom thirty minutes later, to the smell of cooking breakfast. Was he for real? Man, having a room mate rocked. She shuffled into the kitchen, rubbing at her tired eyes as she went.
"You're cooking again."
"You're cooking again."
Sair looked over at her. "Oh, hey." He glanced down to the eggs and shrugged. "What, am I not supposed to get hungry?" He finished making the food and made sure there was enough for her, putting her plate onto the counter for her to get when she was ready.
Ariadne shrugged. "Not complaining." She said with a yawn as she ambled over to the plated food. She hoisted herself up onto the counter, and sat there, plate in lap. "Big plans for today?"
Sair ate his own food, leaning on the counter. "Ummm...I think I'm gonna go explore the area a bit. The dudes are in jail, so I can walk around without having to check over my shoulder all the time." Well, he still had enemies, but none he was worried about, apparently. "What about you?"
"My schedule is woefully empty until the night shift at the Kitchen. Surprise, surprise." She looked around the house. "Maybe I'll do an internet search of places bigger then this in the area." Pretty typical, not so fun sounding answer from her.
Sain chuckled a little bit. "Woefully, huh? Well let's see...we could go out. To the store or something. What do you think?" He shrugged. "An internet search, huh? That might give some good results." He looked around a moment then looked back to her.
"We could do either." She said with a shrug, though, having no idea of what 'going out' with Sair entailed, she was... a little worried. She wasn't quite sure she was up for his type of fun. She booted up her laptop in the living room, then left it sitting on the chair. She would come back to it in a bit.
"I'm gonna shower and get dressed. Out in a few."
"I'm gonna shower and get dressed. Out in a few."
Sair listened and nodded. "Alright." He sat on the other chair and turned on the TV, flipping through it while she was in the shower. He was tempted to make a crude remark as she went to the shower, but decided against it. He was behaving because she'd done so much for him.
Ariadne was out in twenty minutes, dressed for the day in long, black wool sweater and white leggings. Hair, still wet, was thrown up in a sort of messy ponytail. She'd settle herself immediately into the chair and go about looking up local rental listings. "What'cha watching?"
Sair looked over. "Oh, just a sitcom thing. I'm only half paying attention." He chuckled and held the remote out to her. "Have any better ideas?" It wasn't like he watched TV much. He was more often out and about. Causing trouble, too.
She waved the remote away, she Daytime t.v. sucked, everyone knew that. He'd probably picked the best thing on anyway. Besides, she wasn't really paying attention to it anyway.
There wasn't a whole lot listed, though there was a promising two bedroom listed, the good news being that it was not terribly expensive, the bad news being that it was in an even worse part of town. Then again, perhaps the right thing would pop up in time.

Sair shrugged and set the remote aside, then looked at her. "Anything good in there?" he asked idly. Once they got a place together, he was definitely going to add more fun things to it. Her apartment as it was, it was so boring!
