Ariadne would not have been surprised to to find that he found her apartment to be boring. He'd made it perfectly clear several times. He was probably right... well... certainly right.

She wrinkled her nose. "One listing, but if you though this location was bad, the one listed is even worse."

Sair snickered. "Lemme see." He leaned over to read over her shoulder. "Bad parts of town are my specialty, remember? I'll see if it's really what it says or if it's all hype to keep the big guys hidden." He glanced at her. "They do that, you know. Gangs will stir up trouble, just enough to make it seem like there's a lot of bad stuff going down, but really they're just creating a mask so people pay attention to that area and let their bosses, the REAL sneaky guys, do their dirtywork somewhere else."
She laughed, and held up the computer so he could see it. "They do? So maybe the bad parts of town, aren't that bad, because the bosses are doing bad things other places? Or.." She laughed, and made a face. "..are you just indifferent to it because you're worse then the bad people in the bad parts of town?"

Sair looked it over, then smirked at her words. "Well, I AM worse than the bad people, but that's beside the point." He carefully looked at the one she'd chosen, and nodded. "Yeah, that place is just a cover. Nothing really bad actually ever happens. As long as you walk around looking tough, you'll be fine. And looking tough as in....stand straight, shoulders back, stride with a purpose, yeah? Don't hunch over all timid." He chuckled. "We'll have to work on that with you. Getting that spunk of yours to show through more."
Ariadne didn't really think she had much spunk, then again, she pushed, she did some surprising things, who knew what she was capable of. He said it wasn't that bad a part of town, and she decided to believe him, though perhaps she would come to regret that. Maybe not though. He'd made an effort not to steer her wrong thus far.

"I guess we will. Should I call the number and see if we can go have a look at it?"

Sair nodded. "Yeah, go ahead. Oh, and make sure to put it on speaker phone." He wanted to hear the voice, to make sure it wasn't one he recognized. But he wouldn't tell her that, she'd just worry. But he knew sometimes they put out rooms for people to rent, and then...well, the people got stolen blind. But as far as he could see, this was a legit one. He wanted to be extra careful though. He was getting....well, a little bit protective of Ariadne.
Ariadne went to find the cordless phone and brought it into the living room, wondering why Sair wanted to be privy to the conversation. She didn't question it though. She was sure he had his reasons, and more then likely she didn't want to know what they were.

She dialed the number, and after three rings, a pleasant sounding older gentleman answered the phone. Ariadne asked about the apartment for rent, and was informed that they could stop by any time to look at it.

Sair listened carefully, not saying anything. The voice was unfamiliar, that was good. And since the man was letting them pick the time, it was less likely that he was setting them up to get ambushed or something. Sair gave a nod and let her pick when they would visit.
Ariadne saw the nod, and figured it was a good sign, she told him that they might stop by later in the day to have a look, but didn't commit to a specific time. The man agreed that that was fine, as he would be at the house all day, painting the walls. When Ariadne hung up she looked over at Sair. "So it sounds good to you?"

Sair listened to her and nodded. "Yeah. It seems pretty nice. When do you want to go?" He checked the time, just to get an idea if she said when. After all, if he had no clue what time it was now, then he wouldn't be able to know how long it was until they left!
Ariadne looked at the clock on her computer to do the same. It was ten minutes after 11am. "Uh... well, I mean... I don't really have anything else planned for the day." Surprise, surprise. Sair was certainly signing himself up for a life of boredom, then again, maybe her lameness and his over the top attitude would even them both out some. " We could go now... or we could wait until after lunch." She said finally.

Sair considered this. She was so boring, she needed to get out and do things! "We're going out for lunch, then we'll go to the house." He was being very decisive for her, since she was so...complacent. SOMEONE needed to take the lead!
Ariadne nodded, unsurprisingly complacent. "Uh, Okay... sounds like a good plan. She wondered where Sair wanted to go but thought better then to ask, probably it would be fine. Sair hadn't steered her too wrong thus far.
