Sair wouldn't make a reappearance until a week later. He knocked on her door, very unhappy that he was left to this. But he didn't really have a choice. It was nearly nine at night, but he didn't care. He was just glad he remembered where she lived. If she was willing to patch him up when he was injured, maybe she'd be willing to help him out this time.
Ariadne had been catching up on paperwork, and CSI. Papers lay scattered on the floor, somewhat neglected as she got into the episode. It had been a rather uneventful week. Work was slow, thankfully not many people had been hurt, and her volunteer work had gone as well as it normally did.

She was surprised to hear someone knocking at her door at this time of night. She wasn't expecting anyone. Figuring it must have been one of her neighbors, she walked tot he door, and threw it open. She was not dressed for company. Wearing a pair of running shorts, and an over sized t-shirt.

"What can I..." She trailed off, and blinked twice. It was HIM again.

Sair looked down at the ground for a moment, then stubbornly looked up at her. "I got kicked out of my house, so I'm staying with you." He pushed past her, walking right into her apartment. He noticed the papers, then looked at the TV. "What are you watching?" He sat down on the couch, putting his booted feet up on the table. Making himself completely at home, despite the fact that he kind of just walked right in without invitation.
She was shocked as he pushed passed her, into her home. Sure, just come on in, not like I was doing anything, she thought to herself. "CSI, and what the hell do you mean you're staying with me?!" No, absolutely not. Maybe she should call the cops on him again, surely that would get rid of him.

Sair looked up at her. "CSI? Lame. NCIS is better." He looked back at the TV. "I mean, I'm staying the night. S'not like I'm staying forever. Just tonight. Tomorrow, I'll break into my house, grab some cash and they'll never even know. But tonight I need a place to crash. So, I'm staying here."
"You actually don't get to make that decision. It's my house." She countered, somewhat peeved at his assumption that he could just stay in her house. Didn't he have friends he could stay with?

"I don't even know you! What makes you think I'm going to let you stay here?"

Sair looked up at her again, looking a bit irritated that she was interrupting his watching the show, ironically. "Oh, yeah. I guess we never got names. No wonder. You've just been 'weird chick' to me." He shrugged. "I'm Sair. You're gonna let me stay because you are, unfortunately for you, a good person. Just like you couldn't leave me injured, you can't kick me out on the streets." He lifted a brow. "You can go ahead and prove me wrong, but I don't think it'll happen."
She grabbed her phone, though she knew he was right, and knew that she would give in, despite how counter-intuative it was, but first she was going to give him a scare.

"You'll get a nice warm bed at the police station.."

Sair wasn't so easily frightened. "...you really think that you can call the cops without me knowing, and that they'll arrive before I can hightail it out of here?" He stretched a little bit. "Besides, I'm still healing up. You wouldn't make me run when you know I still have injuries that aren't sealed all the way yet." He smirked.
She let out a low groan. What was it going to take to get this guy out of her house? Was she really this much of a push over? She put down the phone and returned to her papers, gathering them up.

"You're a bit of a pain in the ass aren't you."

Sair's smirked turned into a groan. "Absolutely." He leaned back and watched CSI. "I'm a pain in the ass, troublemaker, good-for-nothing...I could make the list longer, I just heard it tonight." He shrugged, watching the TV and not paying anymore attention to her.
Ariadne put her papers away, and went to do her kitchen dishes. This was the first time she'd regretted helping someone. Now, because of her kind heart, she had a crazy man occupying her living room. She'd lock her door tonight. Just in case.

Sair listened to the rattling of dishes, but watched the TV for the most part. After a while though, he started feeling hungry. When did he last eat? He never really paid attention to going to meals or anything, so he couldn't remember. "What do you have to eat? I'm starved." He got to his feet and walked over to the kitchen, opening the fridge to look in it.
Ariadne rolled her eyes. Of course he'd raid her fridge while staying, uninvited in her house. Why not. Obviously this guy didn't believe in boundaries.

Letting out a small sigh she answered. "There's left over mac and cheese , and a Tupperware of salad, on the bottom shelf." There was also ice cream in the freezer, she hoped he wouldn't look there. She didn't want to share it.

Sair didn't bother looking in the freezer. He got out the mac and cheese and put it in the microwave, searching the kitchen until he found a bowl and fork, and looking for ketchup in the freezer. Once he found what he wanted, he set it out, then took the container out of the microwave and served himself a heaping of the food. He tossed what was left inside the container back into the fridge, then sat down and started eating.
Ariadne finished up the dishes, and wondered if it was still to early to go to bed. It was well after nine now. Still if she slept now, likely she would wake up at an ungodly hour. She wiped her hands dry on the dish cloth, and then hesitantly joined her unwanted guest in the living room. She curled herself up in one of the overstuffed chairs, but didn't start conversation.

Sair wasn't about to start conversation either. Well, not until the show was done. When it was done, he sighed and looked over at her. He was done with the food by then, and now...bored. "Do you have anything to do around here, other than..." He glanced at the pictures and grimaced. "Work?"
There was plenty of fun to be had in her home, she thought, but she didn't tell him that. "Nope. Bored? You could leave.." She was curled up on the chair, she had a mystery novel in her lap. Ready to read. the minute the show had finished.

Sair rolled his eyes. "Leave? Not happening." He stretched out on the couch and closed his eyes. It was time to get some sleep. He had a roof over his head and something soft underneath him, so he felt fairly content. A full stomach, a warm house. Definitely something good. And it was quiet. No one was yelling at him or scolding him. It was almost...peaceful. Sair let her read her book, and he'd soon drift off to sleep.
Ariadne, sat and read her book for about twenty minutes before she too gave in, and carried herself off to bed. She thought about locking her bedroom door, but seeing as he was passed right out on her couch, it probably was overkill. She chose not to.

It took her the better part of two hours to fall asleep.
