Let's see what our characters would be like in one another's universes! The goal is to imagine how your character would fit into someone else's world, and vice versa, using the prompts of the person above you. For politeness sake, please don't post to yourself, and please give space for a couple of other people to play before you post again.
Rules of the Game
1) Write a short paragraph summarizing a character's important traits, no more than a couple hundred words.
2) Write a short paragraph summarizing the world your character is from. Call out any tropes or genre traits that stand out. Offer some helpful questions or suggestions that give another person an idea of how to fit their character into your world.
3) Write a short paragraph of what you think your character would be like in the world based on what was written about the world of the person above you.
4) Write a short paragraph of what you think their character would be like in your character's world.
5) Use a different character each time you respond unless about five posts have passed since your last, please.
6) If you want to separate each chunk of text, you can use {quote=Character/World Description}{/quote} code to do so.
7) Think outside the box! This is like throwing spaghetti at the wall to see what sounds fun. You don't have to take anything as writ.

Character Description wrote:
Jolene Harris is a tall, lanky, snitty electrical engineer student who has survived a recent apocalypse on sheer grit and determination. She loves big white trucks, orienteering and puzzle solving. Lately she has discovered her ability to shoot undead in cold blood, but she has also picked up some psychic infection that is causing her to slowly give in to rage and fear in ways she isn't yet aware are causing her to lose focus. She has a few dear friends that she wants to protect, and is managing to say subtly sane by putting all of her focus into keeping them alive.
World Description wrote:
Jo's world is a horrific landscape that mixes apocalypse and chthulu tropes. Everyone who has not completely degraded into a mindless killing monster has picked up a hint of infection that will eventually compete with their physical, mental, or spiritual capabilities to survive. Dead things walk, inanimate objects writhe and seem eager to capture remaining survivors, and even weather and physics seem to occasionally unravel in unpredictable and dangerous ways. There is hope: the devastation seems to exist in pockets. Making it to the edge of such a pocket ensures safety... at least for a while. Your character should have some physical, mental, or spiritual flack that focuses on amplifying their worst traits, even if it gives them some unnatural advantage. Are they a survivor, and if so, how are they trying to escape?
The Character Above... (not written, but assume there was a post above this with more info!) wrote:
I think Laedo would be a survivor with weird gravity-manipulation and a stretched, ungainly half-human appearance in Jo's world. In a modern-style world he'd probably be a police officer, which means that he would have access to weapons and a strong sense of morality, whatever that would be. He'd probably be trying to round up other survivors to help ferry them to safety, at extreme risk to himself.

Jo would probably be a daemon in Laedo's world, a creature that sucks magic and has a very specific job they were bred to do. Power storage, or maybe she's a navigator on the high seas with an electrical or magnetic impulse that helps her guide her ship to safe harbours. Because she sounds very hard, maybe she's a pirate, or else a tough cookie who transports precious cargo, renowned for surviving attacks by sea creatures and unnaturally bad high seas.
