Found this website because figment.com is shutting down and we needed a new site to host our rp, Elements of Gaia.

I totally love this website and wish we had found it sooner. When I have more time I plan to make some characters and explore the roleplay groups.

Until such a time, a little about myself. I'm an author with quite a few writing projects going and an avid roleplayer through both tabletop & forums. Also an outgoing extrovert, so looking forward to meeting new people here.

Yikes, that's two RP sites down in a short period of time! Is Figment a popular place for players to set up RP groups?

Welcome to RPR! I'm still a bit of a newbie, myself, but as a free-floater (aka someone who hasn't joined any IC groups or games yet) I'm finding my experience to be pretty excellent. It's great to chat with others about RP and art and get my bearings. I think that as your players come over, they should be treated to a welcoming experience.

I hope that creating the new group went smoothly! I'm glad that RPR has that functionality. Good luck with the move!

Nah, it was a writing website with a small rp community. They're rebranding the site as a whole to GetUnderlined. But the new site won't have a groups feature, so we looked elsewhere. We honestly like this site better, anyway. ^^

Thanks! I'm not looking for new games just yet (speaking of writing, NaNoWriMo is coming up with a quickness) but I'll take a look on the other side to see if it suits my fancy.

Are you a fellow writer? I won't be participating in Nano this year, but I am going to be giving morale support to a few friends who are.

I just have too many writing commitments at the moment. ^^
